I'm a professional installer.Do not use the silver plastic bracket covers that come on the Nash series mounting brackets . Both covers foul on the brackets, the fouling of the retractable axle cog causes the axle to retract and dislodge the blind subsequently falling o the ground with potential injury and property damage risk

The chain and mechanism are strong enough. The chain noise is from the safety tensioner. If mounting internally in a 1.8m inset window frame take off either plastic covering for the bracket. (very end bits) The tolerance is too small and you'll almost break it getting it in then will never be able to get it back out. Take them off if your window is 1800, give yourself those extra few millimetres. My inset was actually 1805 and it still didn't fit.

Thes blinds would not stay in the bracket, not matter what way you installed the bracket. Almost falling out of the bracket everytime you roll up and down the blind. Useless junk.

Obviously these are cheap blinds, but you would expect then to stay in the brackets when you are rolling up and down the blind. NOT THESE BLINDS. No matter what way you installed the bracket, the blind would roll out of it and sit unstable.
Great quality for the price point. Simple and easy installation, coming from someone who's not great with a lot of DIY work. Have had these blinds installed for almost a year now in various parts of our home and have never had any issues. We had our blinds cut to size but found out recently as of May 30 2023 Markisol no longer off this service via special orders which is unfortunate.
We brought two of these, for our second lounge area, to increase privacy. We love how they turned out, they look great, helps with privacy and really bring a soft look into our space. You can't see through the blinds in the day time, but of course if the lights are on towards dark time you can see through them. We use them along with dark grey roller blinds, they work perfectly together. The fabric is thick enough to block out a bit of light but not see through in the day as mentioned above. We don't move these blinds up and down so for the price and way we use it, I expect will last a long time. I would say maybe fraying might occur over time. We did not install it but our handy man had no issues with install, width of actual fabric is aprox 117cm
I had someone else install the blinds. Seemed pretty straightforward. They look exactly as I hoped they would and do cut out the heat. The chain that rolls them up and down is a little noisier than I expected but I am very happy with the purchase
Blinds satisfactory for price. Only issue found (which doesn't affect operation) is that the bottom rail is a bit flimsy. Would hve been better is more solid with a bit more weight.
Looks great works good easy to install. Gives just enough privacy.
Easy to install, metal chains and nice quality to for the price, don't buy the cheap blinds!
