I purchased these gloves to use for hiking/backpacking ventures and they are excellent at stopping wind and keeping my hands warm in mildly cold conditions. I have not used them in wet weather yet, but so far they keep my hands dry when dealing with small amounts of water (e.g. spilling my water bottle, misting rain).

I have a pair of fleece marmot gloves which are at least 7 years old. They keep my hands warm but do not block the wind. I decided to upgrade to the Infinium Windstopper gloves for this reason. The Infinium gloves performed well at blocking the wind but performed poorly at keeping my hand warm.
