The plastic case has a hard-textured snakeskin feel while the weight of the earbuds and case is moderate. Itās not too lightweight to feel cheap, and thick enough to feel and look high quality.Setting up the earbuds was easy. When I first opened the package, they had enough charge to get them connected to my phone. My Android phone actually read/scanned the new Bluetooth device nearby without me having to go into the settings to look them up. Once the notification popped up, I connected them easily. I began using them and testing them by listening to music and streaming my favorite shows.Right off the bat, I noticed some really cool features. First, if I removed either the left or right earbuds, whatever was playing would automatically pause. As soon as I placed the earbud back on, it would continue playing. Also, I noticed that if I touched any earbud purposefully or fixed it, it would also sense the touch and pause/play. With time, Iāve come to find that you are also able to use the earbud for voice commands for whichever voice assistant you have set up on your phone, which I thought was a big plus. However, I would say they might be a little too sensitive. While on a call, if you touch the earbud accidentally, it will end the call for you.As for the fit, Iām not too sure what to say. Besides being open earbuds that are easy to clean, they can start feeling uncomfortable after a couple of hours of wear. They fit well in your ear and donāt threaten to fall out, but they donāt have an earbud cushion that helps give a more comfortable fit or help cancel out noise a little better. To me, one of the biggest features the MINOR III earbuds offer is the quick charge. They only take about an hour to fully charge and last up to 25 hours of audio playback time! The sound quality does not decline as the battery gets close to dying. In my experience, the earbuds have not gotten to the point of dying on me because the battery lasts long before I know it must be time to charge again. My phone also provides me with the battery life indicator through the Bluetooth device's info.Overall I would recommend these affordable and long-lasting battery earbuds to anyone looking for great quality audio. The battery life is great to use the earbuds while on the go and not having to worry about charging them as frequently as well.

I was excited to open up my Marshall Minor III wireless earbuds, after-all, they're Marshall, right? The best known name in amplifiers has earbuds - they've got to be great! Unfortunately, I wasn't as impressed as I had hoped I would be.The case looks good and is definitely reminiscent of Marshall amplifiers. A full charge - with the included USB cord - can last up to 25 hours, but your mileage may vary. They also offer 90-minutes of play with a quick 15-minute charge. They paired easily with my I-Phone 12, by simply pressing the button on the bottom of the "amp" and searching for the device on my phone. There are no apps to download so it's real easy.I know all earbuds fit differently, but these just don't stay in my ears and always felt like they were going to ...Ā MoreI was excited to open up my Marshall Minor III wireless earbuds, after-all, they're Marshall, right? I'd reach up to push them in a little further and inevitably pause the music. One tap is for pause/play, 2 taps to skip forward, and 3 taps plays the previous track. Unfortunately, there is no volume control so if you start out to quiet (or too loud) you have to retrieve your source to adjust the sound. The sound was good - crisp and clear, however, I would have preferred a little more bass. The sound improved when I pressed them further into the ear but be careful or you'll pause the music!I can't imagine these staying in your ears during a workout as I felt like they were going to fall out while I was mowing the lawn.I've tried several "ear buds" but unfortunately, these just aren't my favorite. Maybe if they offered extra "tips" in the package, it would improve the fit and I'd enjoy them more. They look cool and the packaging is great though!

The first thing to say about these headphones is that I found the sound quality excellent. Listening to my playlists at home was like listening to new tracks and I imagine the sound reproduction may be how the artists would have originally envisaged. There was excellent clarity with both vocals and music. The base level is strong but not "thumping" and without the ability to tweak different sound levels this may not appeal to some. Sound quality was also good for TV shows and movies and for podcasts and audiobooks. The styling of the case and earbuds clearly represents the Marshall brand which I liked and both felt of good quality although not at a "premium" level. They were secure while walking but not enough for me to be able to exercise with and they did come loose a few times when bending over. Also with a non-adjustable fit some outside noise did leak through in noisy environments during my commute.Connection is straight forward and the touch controls on the earbuds worked well but I did initially find myself accidentally skipping songs or putting calls on mute when adjusting the fit of the buds. This improved as I became more familiar with them. The use of the earbuds for phone calls was good with no complaints from callers on the clarity of my voice.Overall a good set of earbuds. In my opinion they give excellent sound reproduction and breath new life to familiar tracks. I'd suggest they are great for at home and leisure listening and good for a commute but I did struggle with external noise on the underground and in very noisy stations.

I wanted a pair of true wireless headphones that don't push into the ear canal. These are a good option especially if you don't want to go the way of the fruit. These earbuds come delivered in a nice box and are in a very nice textured charging case. It's nice to not has a perfectly smooth shiny case as it's easier to handle but still looks very nice. The case has a USB-C charging port at the bottom and is easy to keep track of battery life with the bright LED that flashes it's status using colors when you open the case or push the button on the bottom. The earbuds themselves are nicely designed with a textured lower section that is easy to hold but doesn't irritate the ear. The sound is great and the battery life seems to be right where they advertise it will be. ...Ā MoreI wanted a pair of true wireless headphones that don't push into the ear canal. The sound is great and the battery life seems to be right where they advertise it will be. Since these don't extend into your ear you still can hear everything around you. I had no problems having conversations with these in by pausing the music, my other into ear earbuds have sound passthrough that has to be turned on to have a conversation clearly.I also really like the fact you can use either earbud independently or together in stereo. There are many times I listen to music all day while working outside but only want one in. I could use one side until the battery got low then let that one charge while I used the other side.Phone calls were clear and crisp. The only problem I ran across was listening to voicemails the volume was very low, but I can't rule out that was something to do with my phone and not caused by these earbuds. My only problem with these is the controls. They let you touch above the M on each earbud either 1, 2 or 3 times to do different controls. I found these taps to be somewhat difficult to time and something you have to learn to do. I initially would hit the control a lot while putting the earbuds in my ears. This is something I'm going to have to learn to hold the earbuds a different way so I don't trigger the touch. The other problem is hitting it several times skips the track but it's didn't always recognize me hitting it multiple times and would just register me tapping it once which pause/plays. It can be frustrating and something I hope they an smooth out. It would also be nice to have some volume control built into the taps. I could not find any volume control through these earbuds, you had to go to the phone to turn up or down.Overall I found these earbuds a nice option if you don't want the into ear style. I would recommend them if you can live with the little tradeoffs mentioned above.
I never had a pair of wireless headphones so I was super thrilled to try these. First of all they look really nice, the material of the case feels very premium and they are super stylish. And I very much like the metal details on the headphones themselves, almost makes it look like I'm wearing earrings when I have them on.I pretty much started using them right away without reading the instructions, well only the quick one on how to pair with the devices. I find you do have to select each time you switch device, as opposed to going smoothly from one to the others, but I guess that's the way it is and once you're on, they work great. However I would recommend reading the instructions, which I later did, as I found I was ending calls by touching something when adjusting one in my ear and I thought it was the line - clearly it was me. Other than this, the fit is very good. I was concerned I might lose them out of my ears but they stay in nicely no matter what - I used them on work calls, listening to music on the plane, on the train and whilst brisk walking outdoors with a hat. Never a problem. Most importantly the sounds is fantastic! I am a great music fan and so this brand makes me think of all the concerts I've been to, always seeing their equipment on stage. They clearly know what they're doing and the quality of sound is fantastic. I could close my eyes and imagine being in the room with the band playing, no outside disturbance. I've really enjoyed listening to my music with these. Plus they work great on calls too. Highly recommended!
For those not familiar with the Marshall name, they are extremely well-known for producing very high-quality studio & stage sound equipment. As such, itās safe to assume that I had high expectations before even opening the package. Also, I will mention that the original unit I received was defective, but customer service resolved the problem quickly, and, within a week, I had a replacement. So, were my expectations met? Letās find out.UNBOXING, AND INITIAL IMPRESSIONS:Small packaging, no excessive use of internal packaging materials, and no danger to the environmentā¦so far, so good. Upon removing the earbud charging case, I was immediately impressed, as the plastic charging case had a molded texture matching the texture of their amplifiers. Removing the earbuds from the charging case, they reminded me of black Apple AIrPodsā¦only 1000% better-looking. Unlike that psychiatric-hospital white of the AirPods, the Minor III earbuds are a glorious black. Also, unlike the all-plastic AirPods, the lower portion of the Minor III earbuds are machined aluminum. I donāt want to call these āa work of artāā¦but, if I did, I wouldnāt be lying. So far, Iām quite impressed.SETUP:Setting up the earbuds with your device is as simple as setting the Bluetooth on the device you intend to pair with to āScanā, opening the earbudās charging case, and pressing/holding the button on the bottom of the case, until the tiny LED on the front of the case starts flashing blue. Thatās it.Although the earbuds are Bluetooth-LE compatible, whether (or not) you can utilize the āLEā ability will depend on the device, as some devices will require an appā¦and, at this point in time, there is NO app. For example, my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 connected to the earbuds via LE (without any app), but my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus could only connect via regular Bluetooth (but, it CAN see the Minor III āLEā). I donāt think this is necessarily a bad thing, as I donāt believe it affects the sound quality in any way (ie. only the batter life should be affected). Speaking of battery life, Marshall claims the earbuds have a 5hr battery life, and the charging case provides up to an additional 25hrs (for, what Iām assuming, is a total of up to 30hrs, which FAR exceeds any other earbud batteries).SOUND QUALITY:I am going to break this into two parts ā one for watching movies, and listening to music; the other for phone calls. Also, before continuingā¦and, the reason for my delay in writing this reviewā¦I will note that the first unit was initially good, but, after several days, the left earbud developed āstaticā anytime there was bass. The stronger the bass, the worse the āstaticā was. However, since receiving a replacement, I have not had any bass āstaticā problems. Okā¦moving onā¦ā¦ā¦.Starting with movies & music, the sound is fantastic. Although some might complain about the $130 price, based on the sound quality, some will easily believe these to be more expensive. Put another way, even at $130, they sound a LOT better than the price might lead you to believe. If I didnāt know the price, I could have easily mistaken these to be $200-250 earbuds. In watching a couple movies, and several episodes of three different Marvel series (via Disney+), the mids were super clear, the highs were nice & crisp, and the bass was āpunchyā, but not artificially increased (as several other brands do). Switching to music, I tested them with several genres, from Rock & pop, to new age & classical; from jazz & blues, to hip hop & reggae; from celtic to country. And, in all genres, the Marshall Minor III earbuds produces excellent sound. Unfortunately, all is NOT roses.Moving over to phone calls, this is where the Minor III really is āminorāā¦as fantastic as they are for movies & music, they are downright horrible for use on phone calls. When I tested the first pair (ie. the ādefectiveā set), and the person on the other end said it sounded like I was āunder waterā, I thought that, maybe, it was connected to the āstaticā problem, thus I was hoping (maybe even expecting) the replacements to perform betterā¦but, such is not the case. This is not to say Iād recommend avoiding using them on phone callsā¦allow me to explain. With the original set, I only tested phone calls while using both earbuds. However, with the replacement earbuds, I tested calls while using both, using only the left, and using only the right. When using both, the person on the other end said I sounded ādistantā. When using only the right, the person said I sounded even more distant. Finally, switching to only the right, I was told that they sounded similar (albeit, without any background noise-cancelation when testing outside) to the Logitech headset I normally use for phone calls.FINAL VERDICT:If you want to use these for phone calls, I am NOT recommending themā¦but, if you MUST, then use ONLY the left. At the same time, if you plan to ONLY use them for music, movies, and other shows, I DEFINITELY recommend them. There are less expensive earbuds available, but they wonāt sound as good as these. You could pay a lot more for others, but they probably wonāt sound any better. Again, even though these cost $130, based on sound quality, and build quality, you could easily mistake them for earbuds costing considerably more. While I will continue to use my Logitech headset for phone calls, when it comes to watching movies/shows, as well as listening to music, and when I donāt want to use my much-higher-quality (and MUCH heavier) headphones, the Marshall Minor III is what Iāll be using. Besides, as a Professional Chauffeur, itās a bit difficult to pack headphonesā¦but, the charging case for the Minor III earbuds fits in my shirt pocket, with room to spare. Getting back to my āexpectationsā, as for whether, or not, they were āmetā, the answer is ānoāā¦they were āexceededā.
In my experience I consider these a pretty solid option for light usage like traveling or listening to music, due to the shape and design they may not work for everyone as a work-out earbud. They are a little larger than the standard non pro airpod and dont have any rubber ear tips to adjust the fit. They are a fairly nice textured plastic, so they do have some natural adhesion once placed in your ears. The overall feel of the ear buds and case are OK, not the most premium product but offer reasonable performance for those interested in this style ear bud.Performance wise they sound perfectly fine using something like Spotify to stream with. Advertised ...Ā MoreIn my experience I consider these a pretty solid option for light usage like traveling or listening to music, due to the shape and design they may not work for everyone as a work-out earbud. They are a little larger than the standard non pro airpod and dont have any rubber ear tips to adjust the fit. Advertised battery life seems to be in the right ball park with around 4hrs use time before needing a recharge in the case. They do offer a quick charge function that gives you another hour worth of use in only 15min of charge time. These use bluetooth 5.2, connection to my Pixel 6 pro was consistently good and they worked with with a iphone 12 mini as well. Marshall does have an app that you can use with these, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Luckily you aren't forced to use the app, you can pair these as you would any bluetooth device and bypass that mess. Of course without the app there is no equalizer adjustments or other options available to you. All the basic touch controls work regardless of the app being installed or not, and were generally responsive enough to not be a nuisance.Marshall isn't really a name synonymous with headphones to me, my last experience with the brand was during high school jam sessions with the boys. These seem to represent the brand that I remember fairly well, no major complaints and a good addition to my headphone/earbud arsenal in that mid range category.
The first thing you notice about these earbuds is the iconic Marshall lettering and textured case. It looks sharp and the textured outside feels great while holding them, not slippery like it wall fall out of your hand. When puling out your earbus you will notice it takes a little force because the magnet inside hold the buds securely in place while in the case. Even if your case were to open in transit, the earbuds will not fall out. The earbuds themselves look like a black version of Airpods which makes them unique. They have the same textured feel on the stems for a very stylish look. They fit in my ears perfectly. Even during light workout they stay seated in my ear. I'm sure if I were to do very vigorous exercise, 1 or both could slip out but I don't get that ...Ā MoreThe first thing you notice about these earbuds is the iconic Marshall lettering and textured case. I'm sure if I were to do very vigorous exercise, 1 or both could slip out but I don't get that feeling from just normal walking, working or exercise.Setup was easy. I just powered them on and they connected to my Bluetooth automatically. The sound that comes from these earbuds is amazing. If you have ever owned Marshall speakers you know the quality and sound will be top notch.Charging is very simple. A USB-C cable is including and these Marshall Minor III also have the option for wireless charging. My first use was on a flight and with a couplie hours at the airport, 3 hour flight and listening time before bed the battery life never drained. There is no power meter on the case but under Minor III in my Bluetooth it said I still had 40% so I'm sure you could never completely drain these airbuds in 1 day even with constant use.The touch commands are very simple on the Minor III. tap once toplay /pause, twice to skip to next song and 3x to go back to last song. There is no volume control on the earbud itself but if you pull one bud out of your ear the music will pause and you can have a conversation without music playing in your ears. With the great style, amazing sound and ease of use these are definitely a keeper.
The Marshall Minor III earbuds are stylish, differentiating themselves from the rest with a textured material on the stems and the charging case. They also offer great sound quality, but that is highly dependent on how well they fit in your ear. They offer an open-fit design, so they do not come with different size ear tips. The charging case is bigger than my Samsung Galaxy Pro wireless earbuds but similar in shape and size to the Apple Airpods, except that these are black with a nice shiny golden tip and signature āMā.Sound quality is good for everyday indoor use, crisp highs, clear mids and just enough bass. Unfortunately there is no App at this time, so there is no fine tuning equalizer or remapping the touch controls. There is no Active Noise Canceling and because there are no silicone tips to fill your ear canal, there could be a good amount of ambient sound coming through. I find myself having to push them in my ears once in a while to get fuller sound and more bass. The touch controls are intuitive, though a bit too sensitive. They are your typical 1 tap to play/pause, 2 taps to skip to the next track and 3 taps to go to the previous track. Bluetooth 5.2 connection was very easy to my Samsung Galaxy smartphone, didn't require a pin and has decent range away from my phone or laptop. You just press and hold the pairing button on the bottom of the case and accept the connection on your phone. These are definitely more Android or Windows friendly as they not only support SBC but also the better AptX CODEC that iPhones donāt, but they will work w/iPhones just as well, though they do not support AAC for iPhones. You can charge them wirelessly or with the very short USB-C cable they came with. That was probably intended to be charged from your laptop or on the floor or hanging from a wall plug, since the cable is only a few inches long.Overall they look and sound pretty good for the price, so if you know and love the brand for their audio heritage these are worth a try.
never owned Marshall earbuds before but I have tried various of other wireless earbuds from the past and experienced all type from the past, but Marshall Minor III true wireless earbuds is hands down my favorite earbuds so far, just from the design esthetic these looks like an airpods that works pretty much the same. this earbud cost $129 and the packaging looks premium, very simplistic design. Marshall Minor III case feels so much better itās texturized, in hands feels like I get better grip holding the case compared to airpods, itās also lighter than airpod case, I do wish it provide a tad bit more weights to it. Minor III support up to 25 hrs of wireless playtime, thatās more than enough for me, as long as it can actually provide those hours unlike most earbud ...Ā Morenever owned Marshall earbuds before but I have tried various of other wireless earbuds from the past and experienced all type from the past, but Marshall Minor III true wireless earbuds is hands down my favorite earbuds so far, just from the design esthetic these looks like an airpods that works pretty much the same. this earbud cost $129 and the packaging looks premium, very simplistic design. Minor III support up to 25 hrs of wireless playtime, thatās more than enough for me, as long as it can actually provide those hours unlike most earbud who shares such a high number but the play time is way lowerthe actual earbud itās self itās definitely reminds me of airbuds the design are basically the same, which itās not a negative at all, but the textured look of Marshall is hands down a better look, the hind of brass on bottom stand out on its own. audio quality is fantastic, clarity is all there, I did not experience muffled audio of any kind, itās been a pleasure using Minor III for the past few days. testing for calls also sounds great from my mic quality to audio quality while talking on the phone. the touch controls are also simple enough to understand, Skullcandys earbuds was hard to remember of how much press and hold I gotta memorize, with Marshall Minor III is much more simplified with less pressing.Marshall Manor III got my vote as my favorite earbuds so far, you donāt need an extra app to be installed to do some adjustments, I know for some people they like that, this you connect it to your phone and it just works. I also forgot to mentioned that this fully support wireless charging just like airpods and can also be charged via USBC, which itās also included inside the box. from looks to how it sounds iām impressed and I think ill start looking into more about their products in the future. great quality earbuds
