Great product. The mini Marshall is surprisingly powerful though (as you’d expect) the sound quality on the clean mode isn’t as good as a big amp. Not disappointed at all by this though. Very fast service and able to sort out a shipping problem (caused by me) very quickly. Great price too.

This is a great product when it works! I first bought one from Dawson's and it lasted about 30 minutes before burning out. They were happy to refund (as they had no more in stock), so I ordered a replacement from GAK. So far, so good! It produces a surprisingly loud and clear sound for such a small amp, but while it's great for home practice and maybe for "living room" gigs, it won't do for live amplification outside or on stage. As a practice amp, it's great and well priced. I just hope this second one is more reliable than the first.

A novelty for Marshall fans but also a decent clean amp

These MS-series amps from Marshall are truly nothing more than a "collectible" for Marshall amp fans. They could be used for warm-ups/practice but there are dozens of better options for those situations. The OD channel on this amp sounds terrible, but the clean channel is good for "intimate" gatherings that allow sing-alongs while still being able to hear the guitar.

It's RED!!!!

Neat little thing,brought it for my wife who has just started to learn guitar. Only down side was the battery was flat, but had a spare one so no problem. Perhaps the supplier should look into this possibly supply a better quality battery. Nice to see that you can run it with a mains adaptor.

It's good but...

Everything about this little amp is great, but it sounds very different from my original ms2. I'm guessing Marshall has changed it over the years. It sounds good, but not as clear, bright or as loud as the older ones. Maybe it's just mine that's a little faulty, i don't know, but I'm a little disappointed at the tone of this amp.

It's good for the money

My main amplifier is not with me so I purchased this micro amp so I can play. They're nice little amps for the money! Cool that it does have a clean and gain switch on them for being so small. But anyway they're nice to have so you can play

Nice and fun! But is a toy.

Nice toy!You can definitely have some fun. Tone is not actually tone. You end up always with some clipping (overdrive). So, if you are looking for a clean guitar sound, this is not for you. Also no proper bass. Don't expect miracles from the 2.5" drive.Apart from that, its a nice looking toy that you can actually have a lot of fun with! Battery lasts some 10 hours, so you are good to go. But buy yourself some 9V usb rechargeable batteries if you really intend to use is. Power source is a no go since you will most likely use this clipped to your belt to annoy friends and treat your love. :-)

Perfect for solo practice

As a singer songwriter living in a terrace house, I've always been a bit wary of using big amps. Had my eye on this Marshal MS-2 Micro for a while and bought it to go with my semi hollow Ibanez. It's the perfect volume for playing inside and has allowed me the freedom to play without worrying about being too loud. This and the new guitar has inspired me to write music again. So worth it for those who want to play and practise the guitar by themselves as opposed to in a band. Ideal for flats and terrace houses. Volume is good and can be louder if needed but I feel it has just rhe right range for what you'll need it for! Amazing

Perfect gift, price and quality match, good decoration.

This micro amp is perfecr for a gift, it is cute decoration. I tried it on an electric guitar and you get what you pay for, the sound is not that great because this is small unit, but it is playable on lower volume. It uses 9V battery which is not included in the product and power supply is also not included.

Great sound from such a tiny amp. Way better than I expected for the price. It works perfect for me as a practice amp.
