The main reason I bought this is for an alternative to a heavy 4 x 12 Cab that I can still get closed back resonance. I have an open back Origin combo that I love and use with cover band I play with. It sounds good but a little brighter or harsher than I expected for a "vintage" toned cab. Think it is voiced a little more like '80's metal.

This cab is excellent! Has 2 Celestion 12" Seventy 80 speakers, is closed back and compliments my Marshall Origin 50 head with incredible headroom and clarity! I was expecting I would need to upgrade the speakers but it surprised me how great the cab soundswith the stock Celestions. Origin Rocks!

This cab is excellent! Has 2 Celestion 12" Seventy 80 speakers, is closed back and compliments my Marshall Origin 50 head with incredible headroom and clarity! I was expecting I would need to upgrade the speakers but it surprised me how great the cab soundswith the stock Celestions. Origin Rocks!
Overall:The tonal characteristics are balanced and punchy. The 70/80 speakers perform best with a tighter signal and scooped mids. But they have great range and sound good no matter what I play. I am extremely impressed with both the clean and overdriven sounds the speakers can deliver. The cab has the classic/retro look that is very appealing. It also features a slight upward bend which helps get the sound up off the floor. Using the matching 20W Origin head, the cab really comes to life. It handles the amp's cleans and overdrive with ease. Pedals also sound great. Additionally, I experimented with the cabinet, using a 30 watt baby bomb power amp and a mooer preamp. Wow! Overall, this is a great speaker cab. It matches up perfectly with the Origin head, but also handles other power amps with ease. Highly recommend!
Was looking for a Marshall tube amp I could afford all the big guys didn't have any in stock. Found this on Reverb now CME is bookmark and checked all the time ya'll just keep the deals coming and I will keep shopping here cause ya'll are great to deal with.

I shopped for an empty 212 cab but the prices were equal or higher than the Origin horizontal cab so ... when they came back in stock I purchased one. I opened the cab up so it could air out for a week or so as MDF is known to off gas formaldehyde. Very well built inside and out. Put in the pair of greenbacks, replaced the back and this is now a killer cab that sounds amazing with the Origin head. I gave the 70 80 speakers away so cannot review them. What I can say is that after owning several Marshall cabs in the past this is the best sounding most tight audio wise of any Marshall cab including UK made cabs. Bought this cab to complement a Marshall 18 Watt clone (1974 model) I built. Sounds absolutely amazing through this cab. Love the rich bass and solid mids. It stands a bit taller than other cabs I've owned, but it looks great and would be an excellent addition to anyone's collection (particularly Marshall owners).
Bought the Marshall cabinet from B and H at a great price. Shipping was very fast. Very pleased with this cabinet for my use-sounds great through my tube head.
