I set up alot of stringed instruments while living in Florida's east coast. Whenever a Martin came into the shop i got excited to hear and see how the Set-up was. Martin does it right everytime and it doesn't matter if ur buying the cheapest guitar from them or the high-end stuff.. They always come through. Well built and sounds amazing like a Martin should. I'd take this guitar over a Taylor or Gibson anyday. Thanks again for making it painless for me. I didnt want to order online my next acoustic becasue i didnt want to have to do a complete set-up, but with this Martin,,, i didn't have to. Perfect out of the box like i said. My hats off to the set-up team. Fantastic job guys.

Overall:Want that BIG room filling Martin sound?? This guitar is the answer. If u are on a budget, but don’t want to sacrifice tone and playability, THIS IS the axe for you. Booming bass combined with just the right amount of clarity and warmth is how I best describe the sound. Perfect for singer songwriters and great for live or recording too.
Overall:While I have only had this guitar for a week now, I can tell that it is worth every penny they ask for. Great warm sound. Plays easy. Very sturdy and nice looking guitar. Great for beginners to intermediate players and beyond.
Awesome sound, great build quality. The only small downside is the bass that doesn't stick out as much as I would like.
What can one say its a Martin at a great price that plays and sounds superb so much so my electric guitars are starting to collect dust ?? love it cant put it down. no more fiddling in sound holes to change the battery great.
It was always my dream to own a Martin and while this is on the lower end of price (still high for me :D), it really feels and sounds like a premium guitar. I am really enjoying my time with it. The resonance is just out of this world and I am very eagerly looking forward to performing with it.
Confession! I just started guitar lessons last November at age 68! This is so mellow sounding and so beautiful it is making lessons and practice so enjoyable. It is never too late to learn something new that brings personal satisfaction and enjoyment to daily life. I highly recommend this lovely I instrument to anyone wanting to making music a part of their life.
Overall:I play dobro in a bluegrass band, but needed a guitar to work on songs/vocals at home. Lots to choose from but it is not my money maker so price was a factor. But if I needed to I could do the "Martin Sound" for bluegrass with this one. Not bad for the money. I will probably get a local luthier to replace the nut and saddle with bone and tweak the neck. There is a very, very slight intonation imbalance at the 12th fret, but for my purposes it will do for now. The action is good, and not too tough. I have to rebuild my fingers after many years of not really playing guitar. I have not hooked up the pick up, and may not really need it, but nice knowing it is there. Ratings are based on the fact that this is a $500 guitar.
