Similar to last years cat x. It is a little lighter with a better swing feel and a bigger barrel.
Compared to the cat x : the cat x2 feels amazing swinging with a good taper grip. A little of a bigger barrel with a bigger sweet spot with the same amount of pop and a little lighter. Only stings a little on mis hits but not that bad.
After getting the bat you can tell it’s pretty similar to last years cat x. But I would say it is a little lighter, with a better feel to the swing and taper grip, and it has a little more barrel with a bigger sweet spot than last years. Stings a little on mis hits but not that bad.
Flet spot on the FIRST use very disappointed hopefully they make it right still waiting .....
My son wanted a new bat for baseball and he picked this one. I was a little surprised that a bat this expensive was shipped in a box with no padding to protect it, but it wasn’t damaged. We like Marucci and will continue to order from them.
Had some blems in paint. For as much as bats cost this should not be an issue. Tried to contact marucci through their website and it would not go though.
My son saved his birthday money and paid for it all on his own. He is in love with the bat
