My son is 9 years old and for the last 4 seasons he has always used the Louisville Omaha. (Also a great bat). Once the new CATX2 came out he wanted to give it a try. He absolutely loves this bat and hits bombs with it. No vibration on the hands, great sound and long distance. It is not as inexpensive as the Omaha, about $80 more but it’s the best USA bat out right now. He is 4’7 and 83 lbs so he uses a 29 inch drop 11 and swings it very comfortably.

Performance, feel… as soon as we got this bat we noticed a difference. My son loves the look, feel and has been hitting much farther and better than with his Easton 360. He’s liked Marucci bats for a long time and this one hasn’t disappointed right out of the box! Only had it for a few weeks, so that’s initial feedback.

Purchased 30” and 31” drop 8 CatX2 USA bats for our Cal Ripken All-Star team and could not be happier. Swings and feels like the USSSA CatX with surprising pop and sweet spot for a USA bat. The team also loves the sound versus other USA bats. Well done Marucci!!

Just recieved my 10yr old sons bat 2 days ago. He has been breaking it in amd using it during BP sessions during our 12u Oceania practice and it does major damage. My son said it has great grip, great swing and the feel to the bat is amazing.
Bought for my son for rec and the travel tourneys where he can’t use his utrip bats and all the boys love this bat! Great pop right out of the wrapper. He actually currently prefers this bat to his utrips due to its light weight and pop.
Got this as a surprise for my son. Using it for All Stars and loving it. His furtherest hit ball so far this season was with this bat. Can’t go wrong with Marrucci!

My son is 9 years old and plays between rec and travel baseball. This season he’s been on a hunt for the “perfect” bat juggling between products like Victus, Easton, and Marucci. He’s a little on the short side but likes to bat off the plate. We dialed him in to a 28” Marucci CatX2 which he said felt like a perfect balance. It didn’t feel heavy on the end like most of his other bats, and felt smooth on contact. I noticed more control on his load, consistent swing and better contact. He looked and felt more relaxed at the plate. He doesn’t pick up his other bats anymore so it’s safe to say he chose his new favorite bat. Normally I would notice a little sluggishness through his swing but he looks so smooth hitting a 48mph ball from a machine. I give this bat a 5 stars because of the feedback I’ve gotten from my son. He hasn’t complained, his exit velocity has increased to 50mph (he’s a little on the short end of the height spectrum) and the baseballs have gone deeper into the outfield. His batting coach gave me feedback on his last batting practice where he went 20 for 20 off the machine. Now that we have found the perfectly balance bat for him, we will be incorporating strength workouts to increase exit velocity. Trust Marucci with confidence.
My 10 year old loves this bat! Very lightweight, came with a wonderful cushioned grip already equipped and does not ring his arms when batting. Shipped extremely quickly and with no issues.
My 10U improved with this bat. Well balanced, easy to swing. Has that CAT ring. Similar to the previous generation, 2 5/8.
