I bought this for my nephew and he absolutely loves it. Watching him, and sneaking a go myself, I thought it was brilliant. The characters and humour are spot on and the storyline is well in keeping with the Marvel style. Combat can be a little samey but I always enjoyed it as I made my way through the levels, some that feature destructible environments. I definitely recommend it, especially at such a decent price.

If you’re not sure about buying this game, I’d go for it as it’s definitely a hidden gem. I’m half way through it and am thoroughly enjoying it. Like any game, once you get to grips with the controls, it’s so much fun. The characters are likeable and funny, the abilities are satisfying, the controls are responsive, the graphics are spot on and it’s so much fun. Guardians is definitely a fun game. 9/10. I am Groot!
One of the best single player games I've played in a long time. The gameplay and action was awesome with an excellent storyline. The candor between the characters was hilarious. I really hope they make a sequel to this game. I've played through it twice and it was awesome the second play through also. Can't recommend this game enough and $15 is an absolute steal!
If you enjoyed the movies, there is a lot to like here. The banter back and forth between the crew is really entertaining, and the gameplay is pretty fun as well. Combat feels a lot like Final Fantasy VII Remake's, you take control of Starlord and then call in team mates to help out. Its very much like a more streamlined Mass Effect. At times it feels a tad too linear, but the story and characters will leave you wanting a sequel.
Beautiful packaging! The best looking steel case I own! Art book has beautiful concept art and layout. Best of all I really enjoy the game! An easy platinum but narrative driven action game can be played making many different choices. Thought I was done with Marvel but this brought me back and Hoping Kammy is a permanent addition to the Guardians. Very happy with this purchase.
Entertaining game. Very similar contorls and story progression as the Spider-Man game. if you enjoyed that you will enjoy GTOG.negatives are simply that the game is not overly challenging and there are no DLCs. Once you finish the game thats it.I completed the game and then returned to finish up trophies in roughlt 12 total hrs of gameplay, so it is not going to be something that you struggle with.Overall though a fun game that I will probably return to in several months to run through again.
First off, the game was in excellent condition. It shows that DKoldies delivers on its promise of providing a ready to play product with exceptional value. Then, the game is surprisingly fun to play. From the beginning to the end, the storyline is brilliant. The soundtrack is rocking from song to song and scene to scene. Finally, the gameplay is simple yet amazing. I couldn’t think of a better way to experience a fresh take on the guardians.
Phenomenal game. Deserves a 10/10 and secures a place in my top 5 favorite games of all time. The writing is fantastic. The environments and character models are beautiful. The character moments are top notch. Don't skip this one. Does not deserve to be compared to Marvel's Avengers which is a completely different genre of game created by a completely different studio.
