Always bought Victor mowers previously to this and I won’t be going back. The 4 blades make easy work of a nice thick lawn where my other mower previously struggled, love the 3 cutting features, mulch, out to the side or in the catcher. Mowing made easy with the wide cutting blade as well as a very quiet engine, do yourself a favor and purchase one of these, Your sure to love it.

I bought this lawn mower a few months ago and had extremely overgrown tall forest lawns, took care of them with barely any worries except for a few rather thick and damp section of the lawn.Easy to start after getting it going the very first time, no prime so it’s really quite simple.Would have been handy to have a rough amount of oil needed written within the operation manual for first time filling the oil up, for those wondering, it’s around 500ml.Truly no complaint just some things I found slightly challenging as this is the first new mower I have ever purchased.Great lawn mower.
Purchased on 14.11.21 and couldn’t be happier. Awesome cut and the lawn looks great. Does need 500ml of oil so buy it when you are at Bunnings, the oil is in the same isle as the mowers. Couldn’t be happier with it, the four blades makes short work of the grass and cuts it to a fine mulch. Much better than my two blade mower. Definitely recommend.
Have had this mower for almost 1 year. There was a metal clip half way up the cord that would get caught when you pull it, removed clip and has been fine since. This mower is quite loud compared to other mowers, the 625 engine is quieter than this.Other than those issues, it is a quality mower. Nice big wheels. Can push it fast and it won't struggle with normal mowing, need to take your time and don't use mulch plug if the lawn is well overgrown.TLDR: Buy this here if you are pretty handy with a mower. If not, get one already set up from a mower shop. Quite loud.
After 10 years of owning a Masport it was time to retire the old girl and upgrade to the new. I opted for the 486 for the side chute and mulching features. Wow what a mower it is, its cuts with easy leaving the lawn looking fresh and neat. The side chute works a treat. It starts with very minimal effort. Easy to assemble, the only downfall i do see is the catcher can be a little bigger, If you want any easy to use easy start mower, have no hesitations in recommending this baby.
Bought this Masport 3 in 1 today.Awesome mower but the plastic catcher comes in 2 parts. The top of the catcher connects with the bottom by plastic clips.Absolute rubbish!!!
I bought this mower yesterday from Bunnings Strathpine. Read the manual, filled the oil and petrol and pulled the starter cord, which promptly jammed. Build quality seems poor. The staff at bunnings were incredibly helpful and I replaced it with a Ryobi.
I have had this mower for 3 years and it does a great job for the intended use of mulching and catching. The only downside when mulching is the grass clippings building up on the back left wheel. It starts first pull and runs well. I would recommend this model as it has a wide cut and does a nice job, of powering through all the grass on my large block. Catcher is not as sturdy as the older 1-piece catchers of years past. Also, there is no cleaning port to wash the underside of the chassis when running. So cleaning is harder. Otherwise, regular maintenance like cleaning the air filter and oil changes should result in a reliable and long life.
