Just a nice & sturdy cast iron pan with zero frills. It has a good thickness and weighs 2.9kg, about 3x that of a standard non-stick pan of similar size. Preheating is essential!Have used it directly on the BBQ to make sauces & gravies on the fly, as well as on the stove top for all sorts of things. The way it holds heat makes it great for serving in, just mind the metal cutlery. Would be fantastic on camping trips!Only complaint is that a lid would've been nice, but it's a common enough size that most probably already have one that would fit it well enough. Besides, at $35 this is really just nitpicking.
