Matisse Flow Formula Acrylic Paint has all the attributes of the Structure Formula, however it has thinner viscosity to allow free flowing brushstrokes or use through an airbrush. Highly suited for mural work, theatre backdrops, geometrics, hard edge, photo realism, air-brushing and watercolour techniques can be simulated quite easily. Matisse Flow Formula Acrylic Paints are compatible with all Matisse Mediums. For matt velvet effects, add MM5 Matt Medium. For buttering up the paint, add MM2 Impasto Medium. Matisse Flow Formula Acrylic Paint dries water-resistant but an addition of MM8 Spreader Medium will increase its water-sensitivity for watercolour effects. MM1 Drying Retarder does the same but also slows drying and film formation. By adding MM5 Matt Medium it becomes an excellent designers' paint, ideal for flat areas of colour and for work to be photographed. Matisse Flow Formula Acrylic Paints are vegan friendly (except Ivory Black).

I used this in pour painting and in my bloom paintings and my acrylic paintings. I love how it applies to my canvases.

Beautiful colors in the "Australian" line. Great quality paint.
I just love this product! It's a joy to work with and a colour that is fast becoming my favourite in my paint box.
Love Love Love! Because of this Australian Made brand's affordability, I assumed this might be an inferior product. But I kept hearing a few of my favourite Australian artists recommended Matisse Flow Acrylics so I gave them a try. A m a z i n g. Buttery, gorgeous pigment and they also smell nice! Bonus nifty little flippy cap thing, to save build-up on the thread if using the twisty thing... Clearly I don't know what the technical names are... but I appreciate this genius addition!
Matisse Flow Metallic Silver helped my project just Pop!.
Love this paint. The colour is so soft & subtle - I used it straight from the tube & also mixed it with modelling paste for texture
The color range is very nice and the colors are pigmented better than average side. The consistency is like very warm honey to melted butter. The paint dries quickly and evenly and can be painted over without lift upon drying like good acrylic paint should. The transparent colors are vibrant like water color. The unique colors in the line mix well with others and add depth and dimension. The tubes are 75ml which meas a bit more paint per tube than the average 59 or 60ml. These remind me of the consistency, vibrancy, drying time of LeFranc Flashe - another favorite of mine.
This is very overpriced. I thought, "if I love it, it'll be worth it." I didn't love it. The Structure was going to be too thick for my needs, so I got the Flow. The Flow is more like Fluid honestly. I'm highly disappointed & most likely won't even use it which is a shame. Really disappointed.
