Since I bought my first pair of Maui Jims over 10 years ago, I have never purchased any other brand. The only problem that I have encountered personally is that the frames seem too wide... and I have a head like a lunchbox. These frame types don't clamp onto the skull and hang on, so it is very easy to drop them.But the best Eyewear on the planet !!!I LOVE MAUI JIM. ❤️

My first pair of Maui Jim's and prescription sunglasses. The eye doctor lady sold me on them by talking up yall's lens and quality, and I couldn't be more happier! Ive had them just over a month and I love them. Definitely want to get some more pairs. Now to find stores in my area that holds more styles of yall's frames. The case could use a little work though, but keep up the good work. I love the glasses.

My new favorite sunglasses. Maui Jim glasses are a cut above the rest and with amazing customer service you can’t go wrong. These glasses are so comfortable. They are not heavy even despite being a larger frame. They stay on the head securely and have a great length. They have a lot of coverage for your eyes. I customized mine to have black frames with grey lenses and they are awesome. They look like I’m ready to say “I’ll be back!”If I ever get the chance I will get some with the Lava lenses. I have the green lenses and they are amazing.Overall, if you have a larger head, these will look amazing on you. The style of the frames really are unique, functional, and fashionable.

I have owned the same pair of Maui Jim Sunglasses since 2001 and my wife and I were on vacation on Maui and visited the Maui Jim Store in Lahaina to have mine “tuned-up” (which is done for free). Well we wound up looking around and we both fell in love with these sunglasses with the Maui Green Lenses. Extra bonus … they have a version of the frames that are only sold in the stores in Hawaii in matte black with the Hawaiian Flag on the side of one of the ear pieces and the flag design on the interior of the other ear piece … GREAT Sunglasses and very stylish. To top it of they come with a special version case for the ones sold in Hawaii. My tuned-up glasses also were given back to me with a new case and everyone on the store was very ... Went into my local Shopko Optical for a pair of sunglasses. I was steered toward these by the Optician after I told her I wanted something with quality, a good fit and a polarized finish. Tried on multiple glasses and in the end this was the keeper. I am extremely happy with these. I am not a sunglass aficionado but these things have been a game changer and a statement for me. I love the weight and feel of them on my face. I have two other pairs that I wear by other manufacturers but after owning these I will now only purchase Maui Jims. I am pleasantly surprised and impressed by these. They make my one pair feel flimsy and the other pair feel cheap. I just purchased the Equator model with the Hawaii Lava lenses, and they're my new favorite! I love them for everything from overcast days to intermittent sun and clouds to full sun days. They're similar to the bronze HCL and Blue Hawaii but have a bit more high contrast tint to them. I have owned about a dozen Maui Jim glasses and I really think the glass lenses are above the rest in both clarity and scratch resitancy. I also own a couple pairs of the Peahi model and knew that the lenses are about the same size (width and height), I took a bit of a gamble on the frame, having never tried them prior to having my optometrist ordering them, but they fit my face just as perfect as the Peahi, and offer great wrap coverage. I am a MJ believer of many years. The equators are just what the Dr ordered. I am a bus operator on the central coast of California so they are really necessaryI just love the tortoise frames and the green lenses.No other glasses will do for this guy!
No comparison on how these sunglasses look, feel, and, the incredible protection they provide out in the sun! Hands down the best sunglasses out there! I wouldn't wear anything else but my Maui Jim Equators!
I have worn the Big Wave for years. I decided to switch it up and get the Equator with the green tint on the glass. The clarity is incredible! I still use my Big Waves for golf and hunting but for driving, there is nothing like the Equators.
