I thought about trying Maui moisture but I've read the ingredients on several different types of this shampoo and it looks like they all have olefin sulfonate, which is a horrible ingredient. You might as well wash your hair with dish soap. Regular SlS surfactants are way more mild than olefin sulfonate. I'm sticking with what I know has great ingredients and great results. Only Pantene for me. My favorite Pantene shampoos (I know no one cares, but imma tell you anyway) my fave Pantene shampoos are volume and body and sulfate free hydrating glow with baobab essence. I have thick wavy shoulder length hair. Typically I find myself purchasing items that hydrate because I have dry hair, I only wash my hair once a week for this reason. When I opened the shampoo I was pleasantly surprised to find it very thick and not runny. I don’t enjoy chasing my shampoo. This made it easier to lather and apply. The scent was very nice and clean. After washing my hair I noticed it was not frizzy when it air dried. Overall I recommend this product to those who have dry hair and are trying to give it some extra love.

When I first poured some shampoo onto my hand I was like oh nice a shampoo that is not runny or watery, BUT then I had to apply some more because it was too thick and didn’t lather enough even with some water. Keep in mind my hair is shoulder length. Once I rinsed it off I felt my hair dry. I thought maybe the conditioner would make it feel better. Not the case. My hair looked and felt dry after just one use. This is not a product I will continue to use or even purchase. The only positive thing is the scent. For reference I have fine, shoulder length hair. A lot of it.

Amazing Shampoo

After having tried many shampoo products, some quite expensive, for my color-treated hair, I gave SheaMoisture a try and was delighted by the results. Then, SheaMoisture, to my extreme disappointment, changed its formulation (after being bought by Unilever several years ago). I studied shampoo ingredients to find a substitute. This luscious shampoo, the Maui Moisture Heal & Hydrate, is what I settled on, and it delivers even better results for me than the original SheaMoisture formulation. HAIR LOSS!!

After i started using this product i started losing so much more hair than usual. I’m talking like 4x the amount i usually lost before. And any time i brush my hands through my hair i lost a few strands. If i wore a black shirt there would be so many hair strands on it at the end of the day! I never had this issue ever until i used this. My hair is wavy and is not sensitive. Beware! Also, if that’s not bad enough it doesn’t lather. I’ve noticed dandruff that i’ve never had an issue with before. Hair fall? Test and resolve.

I saw lots of negative comments say "hair falling" because of this shampoo. To be honest, I experience lots of hair fall during the shower too. Thus today I test it with my bang. It is a smaller part so I can easily see. Good news is, during the wash, 0 hair falling from my bang because of this shampoo and conditioner.I think my hair falling during shower is because of I used very strong brush (tangletweeze for thick&curl hair) to brush my hair during the shampoo time(I have thick but straight hair) I believe I should change it to a much gentle brush when my hair is wet(my hair is past tailbone long, so I must brush them well during shower, if you have short hair you truly don't need to), the wet hair is very weak hair, I just learned it. Another thing is lots of people are so allergic to nuts, the high contain of nutty oil in this shampoo may make you have some reaction. Also the not enough rinse cause the root buildup make your hair falling too, make sure to use enough water to rinse well.Also, it is normal to loss hair each day during the shower...and even daily life. There has a lots of dead hair in our head, during the water push, they falling away easily than in air. When they dead, new hair growing back.If you want to bring your volume to another level or really concern of your hair falling, another solution for hair falling is to get a sea salt scalp scrub, it can remove your root buildup and dead skin, healthy scalp protect good hair.I have been used this product for 2 years and I still have big volume of hair. When I go barber to do hair cut they need to charge me extra $20 for my length and volume...would this tell you something? If the product actually will affect my hair in bad way, I would not still have such volume long hair after 2 years of using! :)

did great, loved it
