I bought this chair when my baby started weaning. It is really comfortable for him and a beautiful design. However, it gets really dirty as it's not a wipe clean material. I have been trying to clean the newborn insert ready for baby number 2 for weeks and it retains soap and water but also stains, it is covered in water marks from being so slow to dry, and is generally in poor condition now. I am trying to buy a new one but they don't seem to be available anywhere. Without the insert, the chair is marginally easier to clean but still gets food stuck in hard to reach places. I'd suggest it could come with spare straps and a spare insert as you can't use the chair when these are in the wash. If I hadn't purchased this, I would probably get a wipe clean cheaper option ... MoreI bought this chair when my baby started weaning. It is really comfortable for him and a beautiful design. Its very bulky, the tray difficult to hang on the stands still can’t figure it out after 5month.. the wheels being at front doest make sense, once received thought it was a manufacturer mistake.. its too heavy to move around. It folds but not staying unless its leaning against the wall..the 2 stars are for 1)being able to remove the plastic tray top to wash,2) the chair adjustment.Definitely not recommend. Especially for a smaller kitchen . Hopefully will be able to sell it but will be in loss..

We have been using this chair for several months and are very not satisfied with its design. The purchase has been made online, and we hoped that this chair was as good as one of the car chairs that we use. So the flaws pop up unexpectedly.1. The so-called "storage" for the table is located very low. Probably no one in the design team has ever had a cat or a dog; animals lean on the table, jump over, play. It quickly gathers dust and hair. So it is better to find some other storage place for such a big object.2. The cover for the table is GIGANTIC and PLASTIC. In the advertisement, it says that the chair is easy to wash in a dishwashing machine. No, it is not! We have a wide washing machine, and the cover hardly fits there even if everything else (even the basket for knives and forks) were taken away. So if I want to wash it in a dishwashing machine, it washes only this cover. Not the best option for a family with small kids, right? What was wrong with some foldable silicone cover?3. The legs of the chair are very wide, so if you don't ready to fold in 5 times per day or live in a palace, be prepared to stumble.4. The worst thing is the design of the handlers and covers. The handlers have a gap that is little but perfectly stores some puree or porridge. You can easily enjoy some new hobbies "wash the chair with a teeth brush"...like nothing else to do!The inline for a baby is cotton...cotton! Be ready to wash it at least once per day. The cover of the chair is water-resistant. Designer team, have you considered that kids eat vegetable purees which often have some oils? Of course, one can easily wipe away a carrot puree end enjoy the new design with happy orange stains. I should notice that they are easy to wash, but they are relatively big, so they occupy a lot of space in a washing machine, and you need to find someplace to dry them too (gladly, they dry relatively quick). This chair requires a lot of effort to keep it neat and clean, just as a lot of time/electricity/water.Positive: it looks lovely and fits the other furniture, but it doesn't matter much anymore. It lokks comfortable for kids.I would recommend a more economy Ikea version or more expensive but less complicated to care Stokke.

This is a robust and solidly built chair. I particularly like the extra features it comes with and the fact that it grows with your baby. My 8 month old daughter loves being in it and it makes feeding times fun and easy. It is also easy to clean and put away once done.My only issue with it is that it can be slightly tricky to open but once you know how to, it is easier. The other mechanisms on the chair e.g the gliding seat mechanism, the arm rest and in tray are super easy to use.
Been using this highchair for 6 months (bought when LO was 5m so cannot comment on the newborn functionality). When the light grey insert was in the positioning for my LO was terrible, it has got much better now he is bigger and the insert is no longer required. The highchair looks good, but is not practical. You cannot change from storage position to usable with one hand and the buttons are very stiff, I thought this would improve with time but it hasn't.Cleaning this product is a nightmare, it may be water repellent, but does not wipe clean easily, so it often has to go through the wash. This causes issues getting washed and dried between dinner and breakfast and the quality of the fabric as washing it often (even as per instructions) is quickly deteriorating ... MoreBeen using this highchair for 6 months (bought when LO was 5m so cannot comment on the newborn functionality). When the light grey insert was in the positioning for my LO was terrible, it has got much better now he is bigger and the insert is no longer required. The highchair looks good, but is not practical. I have considered asking if there is another insert and strap that I can purchase but refuse to spend more money on this product.I am now considering getting rid and buying a much cheaper option, but I am so disappointed with the money I have wasted. I love my other maxi cosi products.
The chair is great till the baby starts feeding them selfs!I have to ritually wash the chair covers every day and thats just not what you wanna do .When i received i wasn’t impressed because of the heaviness and the wheels being at the back.. thats something that still after 6 month doesn’t make sense! .. but was very happy that i could adjust to my daughters sitting position .. thats it.. now to clean and wash the chair every day it takes a lot of time during the meals..so not recommend. Need something without the fabrics so its easy to wipe it off .. and this is not the case..
This highchair is aesthetically appealing, and it's a great feature to be able to take the top plastic part off the table to wash. However if you're planning on baby led weaning or even have a baby with severe eczema this chair is not suitable at all. It is difficult to keep clean, food can get stuck in the corners of the chair. My baby has severe eczema and ends up feeling very itchy due to the fabric material. I feel disappointed that I spent quite a lot of money on high chair that isn't suitable for my baby.
We bought this when my son had just turned 6 months and so the insert worked perfectly for him. We absolutely love the colour/design of it especially some of the key features like being able to take the seat off and put it on a normal dining chair. I find it really handy that the tray can be placed on the legs and it really helps you can fold it up so easily. Overall it's fantastic BUT there's currently 2 details that I find really frustrating and as per my title, for this price I thought every design feature would be carefully thought of.My first issue is the straps not having any form of padding like our pram/car seat do. It means nearly every meal time my little boy had red marks on his neck/shoulders which isn't great and also means I don't like to keep him in ... MoreWe bought this when my son had just turned 6 months and so the insert worked perfectly for him. It means nearly every meal time my little boy had red marks on his neck/shoulders which isn't great and also means I don't like to keep him in it for long whereas I know other people who can keep their youngers in their high chairs for quite a while. Also the leg insert that is between the legs on the tray is really wide. It would be great if you had the option to remove this as it prevents my son from sitting how he like to.I think if you can get it from somewhere with a discounted price it's well worth it, just invest in some neck pads as well!
Such a great product! I bought this high chair because my 3m.o. baby was traying to sit up on his own but didn't have enough stregth. And because other high chair are recomended only at 6m.o. of age, MINLA is perfect as it has several reclining positions, which allows to put babies from birth. I also chose it because the straps are long compared to other products. Plus it compliments my Maxi Cosi baby swing.
Bought this as recommended by another mum. Love the styling, and the functionality is ace! The legs are strong so the whole thing feels really stable. The cover on the tray makes cleanup a doddle and the washable covers are helpful too. It's super quick and easy to adjust for when older guests visit. Only issues are the buttons to release the legs are really tight and the tray storage is ridiculously tight - takes me two hands to get it off?! Also, the post between their legs under the tray feels pointless and can be an issue when trying to strap in wiggly kids.
