I have used these to make a 300mm high square garden bed. Worked very well without the need for concreting. Bolt to sleepers with suitable screews to add stability.

They work and they’re quick. It’s easy to put a garden bed up with timber sleepers. however, due to there design they want to move when driving them in making it hard to keep them square.If you have hard ground the will bur over unless you use a soft timber as a buffer.They only have one screw hole so if you want to go two sleepers high or have a bit more than the dirt hold you sleepers in place you will want to add some more holes.If you have the time, a length or right angle or lengths of right angle and flat bar, a pressure pack of cold Galve and a welder. Gonna give you the same result if not better.
