This is the good stuff if you’re wanting to use mono filament. Very invisible in the water for mono and less memory than cheaper berkley large spools. I used the 40lb on my Penn Wrath II 6000 series.

Great product but Walmart's ad is misleading. Received my order only to find the spool was only 110yds. Nowhere in their ad did it say product was different than pictured. Needed the product so I kept the spool. Should have returned the product as they have been non-responsive to my request to make it right.

Supple strong and ties a great knot, also the dull colour is good on sunny days, no shine like some fluorocarbon lines...
I've tried the high strength monos, fluorocarbons, etc. But green Maxima in 6lb BS has been beyond the highest praise in my experience. After trying some specialised monos notably Drennan high test stuff and founds its knot holding and general tendency to snap under modest strain I reverted to Maxima and never used anything else since, either in 2lb 4lb or 6lb strains.Excellent knot strength, general unwillingness to break even in heavy trout...I no longer carry anything else for leader material.

Maxima green is my go to for balance in stiffness and ease in knot tying. Used for making streamer leader and tippets which is short sections with a blood knot.
This line has given me the ability to make/alter my streamer leaders on the fly. My go to has been 18" of 20LB, then 12" of 12LB, add in a micro swivel then add a tipped/line of choice based on fly selection.
This "tinted" tippet helps me see better when tying on a fly. I haven't fished with it yet. Hoefully, it won't help the fish see better too.
I was recommended this line by a fly fisherman friend and it has it has never let me down. The ultra green colour blends in well with my local water and I have had lots of fish on this line.
