My wife is 58 years old and loves Maxines Burn Bars. Her classic quote is "They taste too good to be good for you. ! But they are" . She eats 1/2 a bar for a snack on the train in on way home, it takes away the hungry feeling and then she goes for her power walk. East the other 1/2 later. A Good product. And coupled with her focussed diet and simple excercise routine, she has shed 17 kgs on about 6 months. It is a healthy snack.

Low calorie which is nice. The taste is true to description - choc mocha. Personally, I find the cookies and cream better tasting because the texture is more enjoyable

37g protein but 9g carbs per 100g in a 40g bar

You may prefer Maxine's Burn bars because they're smaller, 40g compared to the usual 60g. I have bought but regard as second choice because they have more carbs than competitors, up around 9g per 100g instead of the 3g you can expect from some other bars, but that might not bother you if you're not so focused on carb reduction. Protein content is as high as other top rank bars. Taste and texture is a little flat compared to other bars but who's complaining if you can still eat chocolate.

Choc caramel crunch is the best flavour! The price is really competitive at Chemist Warehouse and it’s been so hard to actually find stock of this product. Very happy with my purchase and the quick shipping.

Delicious and satisfying

These bars are awesome when I feel like something sweet AND filling. As a chocolate lover, these bad boys enable me to stick to my plan even when I feel like having a treat. My favourite flavours are Double Choc Fudge, Berry Delight (I really like Cherry Ripe and this is great!), Choc Caramel Crunch and Choc Mint Fudge (which is delightful and doesn't have that artificial overpowering mint flavour). Fitting these bars into my macros is always easy with only around 140cals and very low carbs. A great filling snack to havevin your bag when you're on the go, or a great treat to enjoy as you relax at the end of the day. I will always return to AminoZ for more!

Faulty product no contact from company

I am a lover of Maxine’s Burn Bars and often shop around for the cheapest price. When I received my order from Suppkings the bars were in an inedible condition. The chocolate coating looked to have been melted as it was falling off, a strange flakey texture and had white dots all over it. The taste was so yuck. I was very disappointed and contacted suppkings so they could rectify problem- I’ve sent two emails which were now over 4 weeks ago and haven’t heard back. The bars were placed in the bin as they were not consumable. A wast of $50 + dollars.... So buy at own risk.

Guilty as charged

Was looking for a treat that would also help me through out the day when constantly on my feet. Having tried other bars that do this, they feel like eating powder or cardboard. These bars are a guilty pleasure that my co workers took for themselves. While not the full tank experience I was looking for, nor the burning weight loss one would hope for. A great treat for those of us who are calorie counting

I love these bars, they are delicious and feel like a treat. My favourites are choc carmel crunch and cookies and cream. Always have a box at home to ensure I never run out

Pretty Impressive

I just recently tried Maxines Burn protein bars, mostly because they were on offer and my usual quest bars weren't and I have to say I'm actually quite impressed with the taste. Doesn't have that artificial sweetener taste or ugly bitter aftertaste. The macros tick my boxes and the fat burner ingredients are accurate and what should be present in thermogenic products. What I also love is that it doesn't contain the sugar alcohol 'Maltitol' which has a devastating effect on my stomach. I try to steer clear of any bars containing a lot of Maltitol. Downside is that I find it hard to stop at one bar because i don't feel it does fill me up much but it's great as a snack on the go (never as a meal replacement of course). This is the best protein bar I have purchased so far... for shredding purposes. Calories are low, and the fats, sugars and carbs are low, considering the amount of protein it packs. The bar has 14.7g of protein, which isn't a lot, but considering the bar comes to less than 150cals a piece, it's GREAT. It has a pretty standard protein like taste (I've had the caramel crunch and the chocolate one), but does curb and sweet cravings. I haven't noticed too much in terms of 'metabolism boosting', so can't comment too much there. This a great bar to have as a snack, if you're something low calorie and moderate in protein.
