I had been using chinese styled melamine bowls for quite some time to serve my pasta, rice and stir fry dishes in and with the Xmas sales decided to upgrade to the bowls that matched my dinner plates. The soup bowls were a perfect size and dining from my new bowls feels and looks much nicer. A well calculated purchase.

Bowls are a good size but are very fragile and fine, so easily chip/break.The bowls also disseminate heat quickly, so if you want to eat something warm like curry, soup, stew etc in them you cant hold the bowl and food gets cold around the edges quickly. Good for salad.

Great bowls - stack well, wash well.Good size for normal sized eaters. I prefer more food, so have to refill these bad boys. But otherwise they are all round great bowls.Careful if you drop them, they could smash.Great all round bowl! If your on the fence, what are you waiting for? Load up your cart!! Good size; similar to entree plate but high sides make it suitable for gravy-based recipes such as curries, stroganoffs, stews, and suchlike. Great for a dinner of salad or vegetarian-style meals; chick peas or lentils or beans.. Forks or spoons are suitable. In my home, these bowls are often used.
The plain white bowls are perfect size for cereal, soup, dessert, pasta for big or small appetites. They take the rough and tumble of everyday living very well and are not easily chipped. Perfect for mixing and matching with other dinnerware, fantastic for dips and nibbles at party time, a great all-round addition to your kitchen kit.
Bowls arrived with only one unbroken. 3 compleyely shattered. Packaging was so pathetic, together with careless handling by. Australia Post means i will never purchase such items on line again. Fragile sticker could have assisted.
Great bowls from the white basics range. I keep repurchasing these (we have two toddlers that like to explore our cupboards so a few have broken), they are a great size for things like cereal, nice and deep without being overly big. Wash well in the dishwasher and don't get the grey scratch marks like some white ceramics do, very happy.
Maxwell & Williams is failsafe. Bought as a replacement due to chipping/breakage over last 10 years (kids are tougher on crockery!). Love the design, they Wash brilliantly in the dishwasher. No qualms. Have purchased M&W for white dinnerware 17+ years - will continue to do so.
Love these bowls! They double for cereal, dessert or even a light lunch. They’re fine china but not too fine, standing up well to dishwasher or microwave. They’re not too big or too small - as Goldilocks might say, they’re just right. Maxwell Williams continues to be a brand for the times.
Great White Basics soup/cereal bowls 17.5cm in a set of 4. I bought three sets! They’re a perfect size for soup, cereal or for dessert. I also bought three sets each of the White Basics entree plates and dinner plates. Terrific value for money and they’re also a really lovely white tone , unlike some other white china.
