I usually buy the milk chocolate version, so it was nice to try the dark chocolate. I do prefer milk chocolate, but I have to say these are also very good. They are crunchy but also kind of soft and creamy, they are fantastic to dunk, and they don't break. The chocolate isn't too strong for a dark chocolate and tastes just as sweet as milk chocolate. They are packaged well, with none of them broken. They are a perfect treat with a cuppa.

I received the Mcvitie’s dark chocolate digestives free from influenster in exchange for my honest review. I must say that I love digestives biscuits and I love chocolate, so what is better than the combination of them. The biscuit is crunchy and chocolate instantly melts in my mouth, once the package is open, I cannot stop eating them. I like to enjoy them with a cup of tea. My biscuits came a little bit crumbled but it maybe due to damage in the post and doesn’t affect how much I love them. I think these biscuits are great value for money and would be purchasing more soon

These are perfect. Nothing beats Mcvities chocolate digestives. These ones are dark chocolate, I think my preference is still milk chocolate, but these still taste really good. And dark chocolate will hopefully make it less tempting to devour a pack in one sitting. Texture of the biscuit is crumbly and crunchy. A winner for me.

I'm not usually a big fan of dark chocolate but I have to say that these digestives are really good. They don't have a strong dark chocolate taste to them. Because dark chocolate is more tart than milk chocolate, I think it balances the biscuit out nicely so they're not too sweet. I wouldn't have thought about buying the dark chocolate version before receiving this sample but now I definitely will.

Environment friendly and recyclable packaging. The biscuits don't have artificial flavours and is 45% of wheat and wholemeal with makes them healthier. I am not a fan of black chocolate as its bitter but these biscuits aren't bitter at all! Overall healthy biscuits with healthier options( black chocolate, wholemeal etc). My kiddies love them.

Wow wow wow. Iv always been a digestive girl. There’s nothing better than a digestive and a cup of tea. I’m also a big fan of dark chocolate so when I see the new digestive dark chocolate I was excited to try. The chocolate to biscuit ratio was spot on and it gave me that sweet hit I needed without being too much. I’ll definitely being purchasing these again

I tried these and there lovely. Only issue which is a personal preference is I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate. They have a crumbly texture and they are good value for money as the pack is a good family pack. These are great to dip into your tea as they don't fall you can still eat them without all falling into your tea.

I love a chocolate biscuit with a hot cup of Tea. I have been consuming all types of biscuits since I was a child. Out of habit I like to consume biscuits with a hot cup of tea when I have finished my house chores and sitting in the sunshine. I love chocolate digestive biscuits it when I tasted the Dark Chocolate digestives I was very disappointed as the first lot of biscuits in the pack were broken and crumbling inside. The dark chocolate taste was quite bitter tasting. I did not enjoy the taste of the dark chocolate as it left a very bitter taste in my mouth.

Not as nice as they used to be

I decided to treat myself to a packet of biscuits, a rare treat these days. Seeing that McVitie's were on offer I thought id have a pack, they are nothing like they used to be, what was once a nice thick crumbly digestive with a thick layer of chocolate on top has now become a thin tasteless dry biscuit with the thinnest layer of chocolate possible. Far from being a treat, even the birds are turning their beaks at them! I certainly wont be buying these again.
