My dog has developed IBD so I bought this for it's gut healing properties and I am delighted to say she has not had another attack and hospitalisation since starting on the tripe.
This is great to entice my dog to eat his food when he hasn't eaten for a few days. I sprinkle this in layers in his wet food. When I place the bowl down his nose goes nuts & he then licks the bowl clean
My little dog hates her new kidney diet and this makes it more palatable for her, plus I know it's full of many health benefits- especially for an older dog.
Have a Australian Silky and use this as a meal topper which I believe helps with his pancreatitis.
My dog & my furry clients love a dusting of this product over their dry food. The light aroma helps to improve their appetite, sort out digestive issue thanks to the naturally occurring pre & pro biotics. Prior to serving I rinse each bowl with fresh water & allow them to drain for 30 seconds before adding a ½ teaspoon of the powdered tripe. Then I add the dry food & shake the bowl for a couple of seconds then serve.
I love this product! So do both my dogs. I have a senior (13years) and an adolescent (14months). We haven’t been using it as a meal topper though, we’ve been using it on lickimats 😊. My senior girl can’t have hard chews any more 😢. I do sometimes soak the dried tripe for her but this powder is always ready to go and I love that she can still enjoy the taste and receive nutritional benefits. My adolescent has been into this enough to do alone time with his lickimat so that’s a win too.
My two 'fur children' do not like this product at all. I thought it may have been a convenient substitute for the freeze dried NZ lamb green tripe but it is not liked at all by either 'child'.
