I've used make up removing wipes sold in pharmacies and supermarkets, and all of the ones I've tried were coarse on the face and/or had a strong scent.These Mecca ones are gentle on the skin, doesn't smell, and does the job. It's great when I come home from work and I'm just too tired to bother.I've given it four stars cos it doesn't remove some eye makeup products that well, but it doesn't bother me much as I don't usually wear eyeliner or mascara.

I have been using these wipes every night when I get home and they are great for wiping off my face of makeup - very quick and convenient to use. These are pretty much the same as any other makeup wipes, not anything super special, but they are a great staple product to have for everyday use. I would recommend that you make sure you still cleanse your face thoroughly after use, because while it does visibly remove a lot of makeup on the surface, some makeup and impurities still get left behind. Overall, a good product to have handy if you wear makeup!

I made a last minute purchase at an airport to grab make up remover, location may have been half the problem, but I wouldn't rate these wipes. I generally love Mecca brand and am happy with my purchases. I wear black, non-waterproof mascara and it took so much effort to remove eye shadow and mascara. I'm talking 2 wipes and still left black make-up rings under my eyes. The product removed foundation and powders easily. However, mascara, eye shadow, and lipstick took so much scrubbing to remove and I found my skin a bit irritated afterwards. I'd also note the wipes are a bit dry. Again, the location I purchased these at could've been the problem as I usually shop in the city but was left a bit unsatisfied with the quality.

These are the best facial wipes I have ever used by far. They are gentle and not drying, but yet very effective. They make taking my makeup off, a pleasure. I'm thrilled that I discovered them near the checkout - what a great spot to bring new products to your customer's attention. Absolutely love Mecca!
I have tried many makeup wipes throughout my years and these sit in the top tier for me! No oily residue or thick film on my skin after I take my make up off with these wipes. So they don’t feel like I’m sending my skin into a spiral and they haven’t broken me out! The wipe itself is thick. They don’t tear when you use them but they feel gentle on the skin, not like sandpaper. 1 wipe is usually enough to remove a full face of make up. I prefer to use reusable/washable cotton face washers as they are best for the environment but these are biodegradable which is important for the times I need to use makeup wipes.
I bought a packet a few weeks ago because I was at the checkout and they were there so I decided to grab them since they were cheap. Unfortunately these are some of the driest wipes I've ever used, there needs to be more moisture in them to be used effectively. They remove my foundation and face makeup ok but when I want to remove my mascara? Oh no no no, it just smears it all under my eyes and makes me look like a panda. I always go in after using one of these with a makeup round and micellar water to clean up everything after im done with the wipe. I don't recommend this :( sucks since it's such a good price but this isn't good :(
I work in very remote locations of Australia and have to travel light. I bought these a couple of weeks ago as a light weight alternative to my makeup removal routine.The packet reads “biodegradable makeup removing wipes”.So that’s what I expected them to do.For me, they only achieved partial makeup removal and didn’t really touch the mascara.Neither were heavily applied.Other than that they were gentle on my skin which can be sensitive and they have a fresh pretty smell.The packaging size and weight is perfect for travel. The seal seals well so they don’t dry out.
I usually have mad breakouts if I don’t double cleanse, first with an oil and secondly with a cream cleanser. These wipes replaced oil cleansing in my usual skin care routine whilst I was away at a 3 day festival and I didn’t breakout at all!!! So good. I plan to purchase again before the next festival I have coming up!!! They’re a godsend.
I bought this product when I ran out of my mac makeup cleansing wipes that is usually priced at $55.I was quite skeptical about this product when the Mecca staff at Coomera recommended me this $5 one. After trying this a week, this does the same thing MAC wipes do and is much cheaper. (I didn't use this on my eyes because I am getting used to using eye makeup remover.)I will definitely come back for more. :)
I like these enough. I purchased them for those days where I really cannot be bothered with doing a proper face wash, and chose these after spending some time looking around for the right ones! I have quite sensitive skin, but find these aren't harsh and I like they have no scent. They do leave a bit of a film, but the feeling goes away when your face has dried off. These fit the job I chose them for.
