I am using this to lift a BMW X5, which weighs about 2.2-2.3 tonnes if i recall correctly. Does the job well and certainly has no trouble lifting this weight. I'd say the drop is not as gentle / slow as I'd like it to be. You are supposed to turn the handle counterclockwise by the desired amount to choose how slow or fast it drops, but when it is carrying all that load, you have to turn it with a bit of force to get it moving, and that causes the car to drop faster than desirable.

I wish I had a jack like this 30 years ago. It is big and solid with a easy to use handle for raising and with a twist to left for lowering. I have a low profile car and it perfect for lifting vehicle to a good wooking hight. Plus it will be great for moving heavy machinery around workshop at home and at work when needed. Good value and well built.

The trolley jack is great, it works very well and is easy use. The price was fantastic. It is smooth and easily controllable. The whole thing is very sturdy, the wheels roll smoothly and are very strong. For a home jack I recommend it, I would also use one at work if I needed to update.

Perfect for my at home work on my 4x4 ute . Low profile solid build would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good quality jack . Quick and easy to assemble very easy to position and use and takes very little room to store. Great price very happy with my purchase
Even though I have only used my new Mechpro Blue Trolley Jack a couple of times in the week since I picked it up, it has proven to be a great addition to my garage. The lift and lowering operations are smooth and I could not have asked for anything more. To the arxehxxe at David Xxxxx Removals and Storage that stole my original Mechpro Trolley Jack I guess you are also happy with the product too.
Did the job for just over two years. Bought in July 2021 (still have receipt) Kept out of the rain but not garage. Seized after 25 months. At least it never collapsed. I still have a 35 year jack where you use the handle to release the pressure and it works fine. Now i just need to find a higher jack to get Colorado down.
This is a solid lower profile jack. Has no problem fitting under a heavy low profile vehicle and then performing with a raised 4x4. The jack profile is lower than my old 2500Kg floor and most all of the cheaper jacks. Warning, it is very heavy (44kg or there abouts), kick it with your toe and you can guess which one will loose!
Looking at 2.5t jacks compare to this 3t you must wonder how they do the ratings. This beast is heavy and in my view under rated by at least 2X, We had to lift a large log above ground for support in order to get a clean cut.The beats moved it up without any signs of stress or overloading the structure.I made for it a large base from 30mm plywood for stability a better weight spread. It's little sensitive on the release so you have to take care and turn counter clockwise gently.
This jack has been used almost every weekend working on both mine and mate's project cars, and after all this time it still works as good as the day I got it. Which is surprising considering I do not take care of it, like leaving it in the rain on most occasions and just all round completely neglecting it, (would not recommend doing that). This jack has never missed a beat though, even when it now looks like it's been through a war zone. Best jack i have ever owned, would buy again.
My previous 1600 Kg trolley jack wasn't quite up to the job of raising the front end of my Ford Falcon for a DIY oil change. The 3000 Kg Mechpro, at a special price from Repco, seemed like the answer. Many thanks to the Repco staff who carried it out to the car; however, when I got home I couldn't get it out of the boot - it was far too heavy for an old bloke to lift it up on my own!It is also very heavy to maneuver on the concrete driveway. Pulling backwards on the handle sometimes causes the handle to detach, as the locking grub screw doesn't seem to engage fully in the groove. Once in place, though, the Mechpro 3000 Kg trolley jack does the job of raising the car very well. It also lowers smoothly if you twist the handle gently.
