It appears a robust unit, though unused at this point. Though I had difficulty unscrewing the top, the attendant at Repco obliged and with minimal effort separated the top from the tube.Its operation and readiness for use seems straightforward enough for me.

It appears a robust unit, though unused at this point. Though I had difficulty unscrewing the top, the attendant at Repco obliged and with minimal effort separated the top from the tube.Its operation and readiness for use seems straightforward enough for me.
Make sure the hose gets screwed in tight. There is a cap that needs to be pierced to allow the grease to get through the hose
No locking lever on the piston so required two people to load a 450g cartridge. I live regional otherwise this would be returned. Strongly recommend to buy another equivalent brand with a locking lever.
The unit works just ok. It is built to a price and cumbersome to use. The addition of a range of nozzle tips is nice.
I bought it so I would need to take my boat to get the grease connections done.I put a whole cartridge in the device and when I put it under pressure nothing happened until I realise that the whole grease canister leaked and came out from the bottom.thats a lot of grease coming out and wasted and still dont know why.Not impressed with the product!
