Adore this product

I have searched high and low for an eye product that makes a difference to the appearance of my eyes and I have to say, I absolutely love this product. It’s the only eye product that I noticed an instant difference with. I’m not certain if it’s the caffeine in it or what, but I’m sold. I love Medik8 products anyway but this eye cream has been a revelation to me. I’m not overly keen on the packaging as the pump kind of gave up when I was halfway through the tube and I ended up cutting it open and decanting it into a glass pot (there as a lot of product still in the tube) but that wouldn’t put me off buying it again

Awful packaging - good product

I've been using Advanced Day Eye Protect for some time now. The product itself is good, hence my repeat ordering. However, my major bug-bear is that the pump dispenser is rubbish. On two previous orders I ended up cutting open the tube to get at the cream. This latest purchase, the pump won't work at all and I am about to cut the tube open again and decant into something else - I hate ranting on a review, but I did contact Medik8 customer service and got no response at all. I suspect I am not alone with this issue. So in conclusion, good product - rubbish dispenser and for that reason I will not be buying it again.

Essential SPF Eye Cream

I was looking to replace my usual SPF eye cream which has been discontinued & this seems to fit the bill. With the increased incidence of cancers on the eyelids, I feel it is essential to protect this area as much as any other area of the skin. It was difficult to find…there are not many out there for the eye area so I am thankful that there is at least one. It will be used every day and I have the reassurance that I am doing the best I can to protect this delicate area….in addition to a hat and sunglasses of course.

Great product, terrible tube

Great product! Suprisingly doesn't sting my eyes and I can't believe that it actually has SPF in it! Perfect! In principle very pleased with the product, but only three stars because I agree with the other reviewers: the pump doesn't work properly at all! For the price that really shouldn't be the case.

Medik8 Advanced Day Eye Protect

I am a big fan of Medik8 products and their skin care philosophy. There aren't many eye creams about that have this level of SPF along with the 5 stars UVA. It is a thick cream but I like to gently pat it in around my eyes and then I find that it absobs nicely. It has never migrated in to my eyes or irritated them. The only slight criticim I have is that I don't like the container very much. The pump always seems to get blocked, so then to clear it I squeeze the tube harder and too much comes out. However I understand that the airtight pump is probably there to keep the ingredients fresh.

Medik8 Advanced Day Eye protect

It's not easy to find an eye cream that has this level of SPF and 5* UVA protection. This is all the more important if you use a retinol eye cream at night like I do. This is a lovely hydrating eye cream which sinks in well and sits under my concealer nicely. The only slight criticism is the packaging. I find that the pump gets blocked and I have to stick a pin in to the opening to get it working again. I understand that the pump keeps the ingredients more fresh than a straightforward tube might do, but Medik8 might want to have a look at this to see if it can be improved. However this won't put me off buying it again because the product inside is so good!

Perfect for sensitive eyes

I was if’ing and are’ing whether to try this as I already have a medik8 day cream, and I usually just try bring it up as close to the eye as I can, and skip eye spf, but I decided this was foolish, I love the brand, so I thought Id buy it for the spf rather than hydration as I have loads of eye creams. So glad I did. I’ve been wearing it last few days, such a lovely texture, sinks in easy, haven’t tried it with makeup yet, but can’t see why it wouldn’t sit well under makeup, I also bought the spf day cream hybrid cream, I just don’t want the sun to get to my skin. I don’t mind wrinkles, they are a beautiful natural part of growing older, but I don’t want to invite them in, so il always seek out good spf products. This is a good product. Super product - didn’t sting my sensitive eyes

This product was surprisingly good at doing what it claimed to do. I have very sensitive eyes that water a lot and struggle to find a spf that doesn’t either aggravate my eyes or break out my combination skin. This product felt lovely and calming all day, and sat perfectly under my eye makeup. I will be repurchasing this product.

not as good as I expected

Starting from the c-tetra serum, I recently purchased various types of medik8 products. I got this eye cream in the medik8 The CSA eye kit and have been using it for about one month after using the c-tetra eye serum in the morning and retinoid eye TR in the evening. However, I didn't see much improvement of my under eye area; I even noticed a few new fine lines(! not sure whether it was because of this or my less of sleep). This cream is a bit thick, maybe because it contains spf, but it is not hydrating enough. I'm now trying the r-retinoate version, which seems a bit more promising but I will have to come back to comment on that one in a few months!
