A reliable favourite

This is maybe the 3rd of 4th purchase of this cleaner (I have one in my gym bag and one at home too). I have tried the Medik8 clarifying foam too (which is also lovely) but this one lasts much longer. It has a slight lemony scent but foams really nicely and doesn't dry my skin at all. I use it as a second cleanse at night and on its own in the morning and I think this along with other skincare staples keep my skin clear. Try it and I'm sure you wont be disappointed!

Burnt my face

I was really excited to try out this cleanser as I had heard good reviews. The first time using this cleanser my skin felt abit tight but was ok. The second time my face started to unbearably burn and swell. It left my face bright red, peeling with whiteheads all over, my whole neck had a rash on too. I had to go to the pharmacist and was giving steroid cream, and had to take antihistamine for a week. Which was very painful. And has taken nearly a month to heal. My skin is used to acids and retinols so there must be something very strong in this. I have also seen similar reviews, so please be cautious with this product. It definitely is not for twice daily use.

Burnt my skin

I am used to using harsher products, acids & retinols on my skin. My skin is very tolerable however this product is way too harsh! Unfortunately I started using this cleanser for a few days and it burnt my skin. I was left with sore red patches on my skin and a burning feeling all over! My skin is usually clear but looks awful at the moment as it is very red and blotchy. Also used on my neck and it has made me breakout.

This cleanser must have been to strong for my skin as at first I thought I was just purging but then my face was red, sore and almost burnt looking. After 5 days of not using it my face thankfully started to calm down but it did become very dry and flakey. It was almost as if I had had a chemical peel. My face returned to normal after just over a week of using calming products but it was very unsightly and uncomfortable whilst recovering. I was using it alongside press and glow so I’m not sure if both products combined was to much but I only did this as it was done on your Instagram page.

Good cleanser

I got this as I’m gradually buying medik8 products for my skincare regime after being very impressed with the toner and oil. This is a great product too and I can really feel all of my makeup melting away when I’m using it. It has a very light, pleasant fragrance and a good consistency. I have combination skin and feel this is more effective on the parts of my face that are more oily than dry. A good product and think it will last ages.

Great deep cleanser

I have reactive combination skin (oily tzone, normal cheeks), and this cleanser works wonders for my sticky sebum without much of additional irritation. Very efficient, but certainly not for everynight use. Skin became much drier after 5 days. Not terribly, but you can certainly see and feel the difference. I was hesitant about fragrance, but it's not lingering. Overall I find this product superior to many other deep cleaning products.

Incredible

I first bought it because last summer my skin was becoming incredibly congested, moreso than usual. After using this for a few days, it was cleared up. I haven't been without this cleanser since. It leaves my skin feeling very clean, and looking reliably brighter and clearer. However, it is very effective, and when my skin is being particularly sensitive or dry, I find it more suitable for use every other day or so, as opposed to every day.

The best cleanser I’ve ever used

I love this. I will even go as far to say that this is my new holy grail cleanser and I am usually a cream/balm cleanser lover! This only foams a tiny tiny bit and is like a thick gel consistency but I love that because it’s not stripping my skin like other gel, foaming cleansers. It leaves my skin so clean and refreshed but again not tight or stinging. I just love it and will not be changing anytime soon. I don’t use a make up remover I just do a double cleanser with this and wipe with a Muslim cloth. Again with all their products that I’ve tried a pea size amount goes a long way!

really like it

For years I used another brand of cream cleanser which contained 0.5 percent salicylic acid. It as great but god discontinued so I had to search for a new product. Although this does not disclose the percentage of salicylic acid in, I am happy with how clear my skin feels after, I wear heavy foundation and use this as my second cleanser and my pores feel tighter. For me it is good for twice daily use, but if you have sensitive skin I might suggest easing yourself in
