This case adds a lot of thickness to the bottom of the camera; the camera sits on top of it, and not down inside it at all. The case feels like low quality leather and the grip where my right-hand fingers curl around the front, in particular, feels slippery. Far less grippy than the bare camera, which has a sharpish bump there and a stickier grip. All in all I didn't feel I was adding much protection for the bulk, and felt the camera was harder to grip, i.e. more at risk of damage and not less. And I also felt I was underdressing the camera; the fit and finish of the case feels not nice enough to match the camera.

The case is good quality with slight production issues, e.g. on the front side it doesn't fit onto the camera as closely as I would have liked. But in general it's easy to use and feels good in hand.
