Excellent wax. Easy to apply and buff. Only use a little bit and the shine last a bit. I use it twice a year to maintain the shine.Excellent with the Meguiar’s polish beforehand and this will remove the spider webs then you apply the wax.

In researching the best possible waxes or polishes to use after a 90 day "curing" period, I settled on the Meguire's Gold Class Carnauba Paste Wax. I have used waxes and polishes from so many different companies, I literally have lost track. However, this one is at or near the very top of the products I have used going back to the 1960s. The consistency of the wax is near perfect, sort of like semi-cold butter. It applies easily, and after it dries to a haze, wipes off perfectly. It was easy to apply and dried to a nice hazy yellow, which was easy to see on my silver truck. Removal required a bit more effort than Tech Wax, but it wasn't a problem.The results looked great. Compared to the Tech Wax, the paint had about the same depth and luster. Maybe a bit more. But, where this Meguiars Carnauba wins big is how long it lasts. I was using the liquid form of this product on a brand new black car and was not happy with the areas of cloudiness due to not wiping off completely after wiping off several times. Areas would appear several days after waxing. I assume I was using too much but the liquid is hard to apply thinly. I never noticed this on my last black car but it wasn't a high gloss black. I started researching other brands of wax and was close to buying a competitor. I used to use Meguiar's paste and always got great results. I don't know why I switched to liquid, probably was on sale. I used the paste and car looks wet. No white cloudiness. Goes on easy, comes off easy and I'm glad I caught my error and used the correct product for my paint.

You probably don’t maintain your finish as well as I do.” (I don’t buy that. Usually the plumber’s house has leaky pipes and the roofer’s roof leaks.). The implication is you need to take your car to a professional and pay them. Sorry, I don’t have the wallet for that. The truth is that if your finish is in decent shape you can make your car look awesome with this product. I just wash the car well, do a quick clay bar or Nanoskin to remove left over contaminants and use this Meguire’s Gold Class. It goes on easily and buffs off easily as well. This is a good automotive wax, you can apply even in sun without issues but might need to under-apply on hot surfaces.Lasts a good long time and the scent is good. I wear latex gloves when using this and any other product but probably not necessary.Here is a fun fact: this is a great wax/polisher/cleaner for industrial painted surfaces! I use this to keep heat pumps of various makes (Carrier, Bryant) polished only because it keeps dirt and grime from setting in. It is easier and quicker to wax up heat pumps once in a while then to have to scrub them after storms or when they get leaf stains. Same is true for cars of course but you can't put a heat pump through a car wash.I would be surprised if most car owners are not happy with the wax. Yesterday, after engine bay detail, tire/trim detail, degreasing spray soak, soft touch mitt wash, clay bar, back to black trim, interior detail (leather), this carnauba was the perfect finish on paint and exterior glass. Super easy application, a little goes a long way for coverage, super gratifying buffing. So slick even microfiber towel slid off hood. Snowed sleet this morning. Water beaded and rolled off EVERYTHING. My 2004 VW Passat is cleaner than new. All Maguire's products. Very impressed with product performance.
