In my opinion, it's the best wash & wax product on the market. One can extend the interval of wax jobs on your car if you use this product fairly frequently for washing car. After the pandemic, the bottle got smaller but the price increased significantly. Thank you WALLMART for keeping the price low for on-line purchase of the product.

I'm obsessed with this Wash & Wax car shampoo, I can't wait to use it every time I wash my car. It suds up super well and provides strong lubricity when washing the car, so the wash mitt glides and picks up any dirt and grime with ease. It leaves a layer of carnauba wax behind after rinsing to provide additional protection in between waxes which I love, and it honestly is the best smelling soap I've ever used! You get what you pay for with this product, and it lasts for a long time. Only the best with Meguiar's!!

I purchased this car wash & wax soap based on the good reviews. I wanted something easy to use to wash my car myself...which is something I haven't done in years. I like the fact that this was a wash & wax in one so that I can wash, dry and be done vs having to apply wax separately afterwards. Did pretty well on my vehicle providing a good clean and shine. I used this with a car wash nozzle soap dispenser following the same measurement of 1 oz of soap.

I have several collector cars and I'm constantly detailing them. Over the years I've found that most of Meguiar's products are better than other's on the market. Their "Wash and Wax" is one of those products. Initially I didn't think the "Wax" would do anything and that it was just a marketing gimmick. But it actually does make the car shine more after washing the car. GREAT PRODUCT.
I use this as a pre-wash in my foam cannon and it preforms well. Good cleaning ability, foams great for a wash & wax, and rinses off well. My only negative is that it will leave soap spots on the surface if it dries even a bit in the sun. If this happens, the spots don't wash off easily. You either have to hit with the wash mitt again or use a drying aid in the drying process to remove the spots. It's defiantly pH neutral, but it needs to be rinsed very soon if working in sunny conditions.
I was going to buy the armor all plus ceramic and mcguires was the same price but I found out the tag off by $4 anyways I have a white Silverado and what I thought was scratches and paint chips were washed out easily with a micro fiber gray bug scrubber sponge $4 also at Walmart in the same area as auto soap. Loved using “2 cap fills” per gallon! And it was sudsy enough. Excellent product ✅
I've been using Meguiar's Ultimate Wash and Wax for many years. It makes my car, which is over 12 years old, shine like new. It seems like Meguiars has improved their formula recently and the car shines better than ever. Just finished a long road trip after washing the car. It rained for about 6 hours of the trip. At the conclusion the car still looked pretty good and did not have a great deal of dirt in the usual places from the spray off the wheels. That made me happy.
OK it cleans well but so does every other car shampoo but this leaves spots all over me windows like others have said .. i feel its also a fingerprint magnet because of the film it leaves on the paint..you will notice it if you have a dark color car...but what i dislike most about this is the smell.. its overpowering and hideous and the smell doesnt wash off your hands ,arms and wash mitts . ..i washed two cars with it and i sniffed it for about 2 hours and no joke i had a sore throat for 2 days. cant believe some people think its a nice smell when all you are smelling is chemicals thats suppose to smell like a banana or whatever that smell is... It even writes on the back of the bottle 'avoid breathing of vapors and use with adequate ventilation and to also avoid ... I’m a cynic in nature. Several people had mentioned this set but I’m not an easy sell. I finally bit the bullet and i am glad i did! Start with a SMALL amount of shampoo! I accidentally used way more shampoo than necessary lol. It took a good 10min to wash all the suds out of my hair. The conditioner is just as concentrated so start with only a small amount. The first time i used it, i had used the bond repair in my hair dye and washed with the set. After i washed it out of my hair i initially thought it felt a little heavy. But once i dried my hair it was so like and airy and my normal frizzies were smoothed out!! I do use CHI heat protector before i dry and straighten my hair. Ty. Arrived well packed from Walmart. Washed the car well, but would have to use it weekly to see true results and hopeful the wax in the car soap provide great protection and shine like ceramic would.
