My daughter received this as a gift for her second bday and she LOVES IT! She’s really into pretend play at the moment and has played with this set for the last 3 months(along with other play food items). I decided to gift it to a 2 yo as well and was told it was a big hit with that child as well. Very versatile and sturdy pieces that can be played with in so many different ways.

Cute toy! My son picked this out and loves cutting up the fruit to make a smoothie. I love that you can turn the wheel to “blend” the smoothie but it is not electronic. I try to avoid electronic toys so he can still use his imagination to make things work. Good quality and great addition to his play kitchen!

Unfortunately it doesn't work. Returned the first one and the second one doesn't work either. It's a really cute toy and my daughter loves it. Sad that is doesn't work and had to pay extra for the second one.

Awesome/Epic! <3. Daughter loved this (late review) got this 2020 Christmas used it like as a restaurant she would use her other toys to like order a smoothie! She loved it! Very awesome and I don’t regret buying this for my child (she’s 9 years old) :)
This toy is one of my daughter’s go tos in the playroom. I love playing with it with her too. I love the velcro cuttable fruits and and the pouch that has the protein powder disc in it, so cute! My daughter spends hours being creative and imaginative with this. Melissa and Doug never disappoints!
My kids absolutely love Melissa and Doug items! I used to think they were on the pricier side of play food toys and lean towards buying other products. Not anymore. They are SO WORTH their price plus more. The fact that they are wood makes me feel better about buying them. They last so much longer and are safer than the plastic alternatives. They are so creative and inventive their their products. I have bought so many sets and will continue to.
Our 2 year old is OBSESSED with “smoonies” and has one for breakfast every morning. This toy set was the perfect gift for him! He loves the fruit and the fact that he gets to cut it himself to put it in the blender. He uses this toy daily. Highly recommend!
Got this for my 2.5 year-old son for Christmas and it’s a huge hit! He already loved pretending to make smoothies with household items (since he watches me make them every morning), but now he’s loving having his own cup, blender, etc. I like that it’s simple; doesn’t make noises or have any lights or tricks, and makes kids use their imagination. Only thing I don’t like is that the milk container is paper-based. My son already took a bite out of it :( Plastic or wood would have been better, and since everything else in the kit is, I’m not sure why they used paper for the milk. Other than that, love it!
After my daughter told everyone just before Christmas that Santa was bringing her a smoothie set (and he wasn't), I decided that I had better remedy this right away. When I got on to shop the SAS, it was a no-brainer that she had to have this for her birthday in March! I obviously haven't given it to her yet, but it is adorable. The presentation in the package is great - neat, clean, and appealing. M&D stuff is notoriously great quality and can take a beating - at least in my house! So I'm sure that this set is no exception. Can't wait to see her face when she opens it!
It’s cute in terms of the idea, but there’s not much to this set. The blender isn’t battery operated so no spinning or noise. The protein powder is also just an empty bag. You can manually make the blender spin, but my son didn’t like it much. The only cool part is the fruit. They have Velcro so you “cut” the fruit in half. But that’s it. My son grabbed the toy off the shelf because it looked cool so I didn’t think much. When I got home I noticed it was almost $30. Sooooo not worth its price. We’ll be returning.
