I am thrilled to have a pair of jellies again. I used to wear the originals in the early 80s as a kid. BUT, while these are cute and comfy, they STINK! I have had my pair outside for over two weeks and they still smell. I have not been able to wear them because of the overwhelming fake perfume scent that was added. Ugh. Why????

I am a Melissa fan, but haven’t purchased a pair in some time. I saw these in green and fell in love! I ordered immediately but my size was sold out, I ordered one size smaller and adjusted the straps and they fit flawlessly! They look gorgeous and have a complimentary shape to them, they do for your feet as heels do for your legs - they really look lovely on and they feel just as wonderful! Soft, deliciously scented, and safe - I would feel comfortable hiking in them or going on a summer date with them! I can’t say enough - just ordered a second pair in the same size in case they are discontinued!

These jellies are well constructed for all day wear. Very comfortable foot padding and flexibility. These jellies look very high quality and durable. Melissa definitely got these sandals right! Sexy, fun and sleek are just few adjectives that I can use to describe these sandals. I’m a jelly head and own over 15 different colors. My only suggestion is to make all these Possession sandals in size 13 so I can get all the colors lol.
Great shoe very comfortable. Fit was perfect. The smell of shoe is the only thing. Not a show stopper but they are very smelly. I guess the smell lasts for a few weeks. I would definitely still recommend the shoe to anyone interested in comfort and style. I bought the matte black.
As an 80’s girl, I loved me some jellies, but I had never owned a pair of Melissa brand. I was hesitant to buy these because they are a little pricey, and the jellies of yore that I was familiar with were less than comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised… Melissa jellies are some of the most comfortable shoes that I own! I found them to be true to size. I will definitely be buying more pairs… there are so many amazing colors to choose from!
I wasn’t sure if these would give me blisters like the jellies I had when I was younger but these are 1000% upgrade. They are so easy to put on (I don’t even undo the strap) and has a great cushion. I get compliments every time I wear them. The only thing is that if you are walking around a gravel/rock area the rocks will get stuck in the bottom but I just pull them out if that happens. For fit I got a size 7 and they fit perfect, I have a wide toe box and it does not get squished. If you are between sizes I would def size down, I am a 7-7.5 depending on the brand. I probably could have gotten a 6 but I think it would have been too snug around my foot. I have the green color and they are easy to take and rinse off if they get dirty. The material is soft and pliable making them incredibly comfortable to wear! They are super cute and I love the clear buckle detail. They do have a smell fresh out of the box but it's not unpleasant and it wears out with time. So that wasn't a big issue for me - just something to note. I usually wear a 7/7.5 depending on the brand. I decided to go with an 8 and they fit perfectly. I am for sure going to be wearing these all summer long. 10/10 would recommend! Can't wait to buy other colors!
I was so excited to receive my Melissa sandals and immediately took them for a spin. Rode my bike, walked to grab a coffee, went to work for a few hours and not a single blister, the rubber is soft and quite thick. Cut in a way that doesn’t hurt your feet. I sized down, followed the size chart and measured my foot with a ruler. I am usually a size 36 EU/ 6 US and that is a size 5 In Melissa, they fit perfectly. Received compliments all day. If your thinking of snagging these, just do it. I’m taking mine to New York this summer and I’m beyond excited 😊

Seeing as PVC does not stretch or break in (or shrink) from what I researched, and considering I may wear mine with socks on occasion, the 10 was what I decided to keep. I did try them on at the end of the day (best time to with feet more accurate in sizing) and have been wearing them every other day for a week now to confirm that going with the size 10 was the perfect choice.I did prefer the more fitted shoe cage and feel when trying on the 9 initially, but my toes just touched the front of the shoe/PVC cage when standing and walking. The tiny bit more toe room in the 10 definitely seems like it was the better choice after having worn them through the day at this point.If I would've JUST tried the 9 - I would've thought they were good to go. If I JUST tried on the 10, I also would've thought they were good to go. However, I would suggest if you have a really narrow foot and wear a 9-9.5 then the 9 will work for you (unless you plan to only wear these with thicker socks, then you may want to size up to a ten). If you're a primarily true 10, 90% of the time like me, with an average width/narrowish foot, stick with the 10. Your toes will thank you for it, plus you can wear socks or not and be comfy in either scenario. If you are a 10 with average to wide-ish feet, definitely get the 10.I hope this helps... it was basically the review I was looking for before I got these! :) oh and P.S. They are SO much more comfortable, flexible, and breathable than I anticipated!!! Speaking of breathability, I feel like the size 10 also allows a little more air flow thanks to not being as fitted. And the slight bubble gum smell seems like it will slowly fade away whether you're a fan or not. It doesn't bother me either way. They seem like they will last forever... I really hope they do. Highly recommend!
