This German WW1 tank is what i believe to be the last a series of WW! tanks from England France and Germany. If my information is correct, i believe that the Australian War memorial in Canberra has the only surviving example in the world. Thank you for the rapid response to my order. I do like the presentation of the interior of the tank. This adds to its authenticity. many thanks Philip Dandy

A very well designed kit with a full interior if that appeals to you. Having a full interior does add some construction time, but opportunity for super-detailing the interior for a "cut-away" build. The shape of the finished kit seems to be accurate to period photographs. Since only about a dozen were completed by the end of the war, "accuracy" shouldn't be an issue. All the road wheels and return rollers needed get a bit tedious, but Meng's design is far superior to the older kits. It's not a Tamiya "shake the box" kit, but I'd rate it as a relaxing month-long paint and build project. Fit and finish is very good I'd say, and a 100% out-of-the-box build will make a very fine display. Turned brass cannon barrels and machine guns are available to really make the kit ... MoreA very well designed kit with a full interior if that appeals to you. Fine model of the "Great War" monster tank
29 July 2019

An excellent quality kit (complete with interior) of an unusual WWI subject. Parts fit are outstanding, and while not a "beginners model", if you have one or two builds under your belt, take your time and you will end up with a fine model. There are lots of parts, but the instructions are good. You won't finish it in a weekend, or maybe even a month, but it's very enjoyable to build.

More than expected
10 August 2016

Can't say I was expecting to assemble crew chairs and an auxiliary weapons rack in the crew compartment, or put each (2 part) track piece together for the tracks, but a functioning model with exceptional detail all in all. I implemented magnets and LEDs to turn mine into a count-as battle tank for the warhammer table top game, very satisfied with the quality of the product.

Very detailed, clean and well packaged. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. This is my first Meng build and it won't be my last.

Worth the few month wait from China..

One of the few representations of German armor during WW 1. Beautifully detailed, worth taking time to build and paint (with an airbrush, to do it justice). It does only have one set of decals to model only this particular tank when Germany had a few of these. No crew included, no engine (but it would be fully enclosed and not visible), but otherwise superior interior and exterior detail.

absolutely a must have brilliant kit, interior as well, workable tracks, meng done a rare version with detailed engine, don't know why they didn't make this the norm in all kits, anyhow a outstanding kit, an example to other manufacturers, no kit is perfect but price detail etc this is up there with the beat for sure, have many full interior , workable tracks kits from meng and ryefield which are just fantastic, i am a tamiya fan but these kits by both companies i mentioned, make tamiya look over priced for what they are and very basic, fact, go get the best 1/35 tamiya tank kit then get this or ryefield tiger interior kit and put side by side price for what you get, truth is and why tamiya and dragon both are starting to do interiors and workable tracks , meng and ... Moreabsolutely a must have brilliant kit, interior as well, workable tracks, meng done a rare version with detailed engine, don't know why they didn't make this the norm in all kits, anyhow a outstanding kit, an example to other manufacturers, no kit is perfect but price detail etc this is up there with the beat for sure, have many full interior , workable tracks kits from meng and ryefield which are just fantastic, i am a tamiya fan but these kits by both companies i mentioned, make tamiya look over priced for what they are and very basic, fact, go get the best 1/35 tamiya tank kit then get this or ryefield tiger interior kit and put side by side price for what you get, truth is and why tamiya and dragon both are starting to do interiors and workable tracks , meng and ryefield kits are real good price , fit and detail for money, wake old favourite companies, wake up, the guns are very detailed but you can buy even better metal ones by Aber then its just about perfect
