I need stability these are good and I see no issues with the heel- might be nice to have more structure but the shoe works so well!!First fast training run 5 miles- usually I’d do 8s- did 7:30s. Not sure why I’d wear my racing shoes again.The Mach x2 literally pushes you - super springy and propulsive- no sense of lateral instability.I love these!

I ran my best 10 miler in quite a while today in these. My legs tend to feel better in the last few miles. The fit is better than my last pair of Hokas - I have wide feet and the toebox is roomier.

I use these for marathon training. Just the right amount of cushioning and very light. I am a die hard Saucony wearer for the past 15 years but these have won me over. The sizing is way off. I wear a size 11 in every other shoe and in these I had to get a 9.5 for a good fit.

Used these shoes for 2 months while doing tempo runs and some speed work. These shoes are not Hoka "like". They are not springy and very stiff. After 3 tough workouts in these, my knees immediately started to become sore. I ran the same workouts since with the Hoka One One Cliftons 6's and no pain. I do not recommend these shoes for anyone that is used to springy shoes.
I prefer the Clifton.
I like the style and look of the shoes but they are uncomfortable and hurt my knees when I wore them.
Light weight, high quality, good feeling while running. I use the MAF/zone two training most of the time along with HIIT once a week and its actually difficult to run slow in these. They really are the best HOKA I have used and I have bought at least 20 pair over the years. Unfortunately I had to get them from the HOKA web site as road runner sells these in narrow only and I need a wide. They have a pattern of selling high end shoes in narrow only and also in only greys or black. Color isn't a deal changer but not carrying wide obviously is.
Shoe is uncomfortable in the arch and tends to quickly wear out while running less than 150 miles on the road
