My first Hokas where the Bondi 6s and I fell in love. So soft and cushiony , when I bought the 7s I felt like maybe they weren't as soft but once I broke them in they where great. These however I wore for almost a month and they never felt great. They put my foot in an odd position and my feet would ache after the run. I unfortunately had to return

My first paid of Hokas I loved. Great fit, light, lots of cushion, comfortable. I decided to try a different version of Hoka. I have a wide foot and should have taken more consideration when purchasing. I'm hoping they stretch a bit but my foot feels squeezed.

After hearing many friends talking about this brand, I decided to try some….and so glad I did! These are literally the best shoes for walking! Great fit, very well cushioned, and well ventilated. I would recommend these to everyone!

I have bought two pairs of Hoka sneakers from REI. They are the best shoes I've ever had for physical activities and I run and walk a great deal. Their stability, cushioning and comfort are unmatched. They will help prevent you from having injuries due to excessive running, I love them!
I wanted to buy Bondi 7 but not available. Bondi 8 is a great shoe but don't think it is necessary for Hoka to come out with a new model every year and ask more $ for it. I am a loyal Hoka runner and won't run in anything else. Let's reward on our loyal customers with a price break and not a new model .
These shoes are the most comfortable shoes we've ever worn. They are excellent for either a flat footed person or one who has a high arch. We used to purchase other walking/exercise shoes but decided to try the HOKA brand and will never go back. I have noticed many healthcare workers who are on their feet for most of their days wearing these shoes. Highly recommend the HOKA shoes for women and men.
I love these shoes. The Bondi is the most cushioned Hoka shoe and I can walk for miles in them. I'm not a runner, but rather do long distance walking and these are great shoes. Everyone who I've recommended them too and who have bought them loves them too!
I'm used to Hoya's all terrain / offroad shoes so this was my first experience with Bondis. I purchased these for training and running Ironman. Unfortunately, these didn't work for me. The ride does feel plush; however poorly structured - with every step I felt just a bit wobbly. The outsole of these shoes is very wide and, to me, felt like I was logging extra weight / structure. Probably the worst part of the shoe was zero rebound or bounce. I would just sink into it every every step and get no response back. I ran with these a couple of times for probably a total of 8 miles and after struggling to get used to them, return them back to REI. Unfortunately, these did not work for me at all.
I used to exclusively wear New Balance shoes as I have high arches and have had Plantar Fasciitis. Then I went to Brooks Adrenaline as they had better heel support than the New Balance (NB's had a sloppier fit in the heel). But the Hoka Bondi 8's feel like you are bouncing on air (remember the Flubber movies?). I added a set of Aetrex orthotics and I have full support and bounce, too. Everyone who owns Hoka's that I have talked to say the same things about these shoes. They LOVE them and I agree.
I got these in white and I wore them to work (I’m a cashier so I’m on my feet for hours) and they hurt after an hour. That is very soon considering that uncomfortable shoes such as converse and vans take around 5-6 hrs to start hurting me. For me, the pain was in the middle of my foot, not my heels like some people experience with shoes, not specifically these, but in general. I think this time frame was pretty bad since hokas are specifically meant to be high quality. I was willing to pay the high price because I thought these would be the perfect shoes since lots of people said they were like walking on clouds, but I guess they just weren’t for me. I did not get around to running in them because I cannot wear these a second time, they were that painful.
