However, once I started moving around and working, I never noticed their shape again. Even when I look in the mirror, I no longer consider the concerns I had before.Altogether, the Nike Pegasus 41 GORE-TEX Men's Waterproof Road Running Shoes have proven to be very reliable and effective for long days on my feet and for walking and running. The Nike Storm-Treads are grippy for surfaces like road or dirt/trails, so you can trust your steps.I didn’t take the “waterproof” part as seriously until trying them myself, but these surprised me with how hydrophobic they are. Water beads up and rolls right off, which makes these pretty easy to clean as well, should you get into any mess. That ease-of-use makes these a great candidate for a daily wear.All-in-all, I’m a fan of these shoes. My wishlist for changes is short, consisting only of widening the mildly narrow fit, and a little more support in the arches. My favorite bits are how easy they are to clean, the laid-back, understated presentation, and their overall breathability for how much protection they offer.Much love to the team for allowing me to test these out!

I wore long black socks for more hiking/walking and short socks for running on track/treadmill and yoga.-FabricBy the touch you know the material is very durable. I did a lot of yoga poses in these which really flexed the soles beyond that 90 degree angle and they still look like new despite the constant bend in material in the uppers. I went on a few wet runs outside and the water repellent material works well I did not have wet socks after my run if I had wore a soak absorbing mesh so for people who enjoy running in wet weather this would keep your feet dry. The laces are nice and thick and have a nice feel to them when you lace them tight the thickness of the material contributes to that “lock in” feel. The soles were really great the all rubber was perfect for this I felt very sticky to the ground no slippage whatsoever.-Pros/ConsI really enjoyed the comfort the most. I never got sore feet after wearing these during hiking, track and yoga practices. Comfort is my biggest concern for new shoes and these nailed it and I rank it high on my shoe collection in terms of comfort. Another pro is the style of the shoes they really are versatile for outside physical activities I enjoy shoes that look good besides their intended use you get more value out for it. Having the best of functionality and aesthetically pleasing just brings this shoe all together.A con for this shoe is that I noticed it does have some heat retention. This is most likely due to the thick sole it has but the heat retention is normal for any shoes but might bother someone who really likes a super breathable shoe but sacrificing that extra cushion comfort. You start to notice a bit of heat after 3 miles but not unbearable. For reference I am 240lbs and I wore Nike Standard Dri Fit black socks which I consider the perfect sock for any occasion a thinner sock might be suitable for those who want less heat retention.

The cushion has been very noticeable running on hard pavement in a city which has been a huge plus.The traction that the midsole itself sits on offers good grip on both dry and wet terrain, even after a good rain. This was a plus while running in the city as sometimes there are spills on the pavement and we want to avoid falling down or loosing our footing to prevent injury.The fit of the shoe is one thing I feel could be approved upon, specifically in the forefoot. The shoe itself didn’t fit too big or too small, but I had a bit more room than I would’ve preferred. I felt that I had to really tighten the base laces to close the empty space in the toe area. With the laces being really tightened, the forefoot “bubbled” up (pictured below). I think that may just be the nature of the GORE-TEX material itself, but the “bubbling up”created additional space that the initial tightening was done to mitigate.Overall, I’ve really enjoyed running in the Nike Pegasus 41 GORE-TEX waterproof running shoes and would highly recommend them to someone that is into running and has to deal with all four seasons. The cushion/comfort is second to none and they are overall a good running and training shoe that is not only reliable but looks good.

The material is reinforced in areas of high wear which promotes longevity.What did you like most? What would you change?Overall what I liked the most is that the shoe is a great all around performer. Materials are great for outdoor running, the traction grips well and it has a strong rubber that ensures durability. Further, the midsole and the cushion technology make it a comfortable ride whether it’s for a walk or an outdoor run. Lastly, the shoe can be used casually due to its design and I don’t have to worry about any discomfort.The only thing I would change about the shoe are the laces, they run a bit short and I’d prefer them to be a little thicker to battle the outdoors.
These sneakers definitely are something new as far as I have ever tried.They fit like a sock does so it is very different to how the tongue of a typical sneaker works. It feels nice, a lot more snug to the usual sneaker and I appreciate that. It makes it so much easier for whatever use I need. It feels almost like I can be secure in them even without them being entirely laced. I love a fit that makes It so the sneaker doesn't feel chunky around my foot.Design wise I love that they are all black and have a thick bottom, it creates so much comfort. I tend to prefer the thick bottom on my sneakers for extended uses. I walk a LOT wether it is for work or to exercise and the design of these easily helps. Not only is it smooth and incredibly easy to clean, but the water proof Gore-Tex is incredible. I live in a very humid and rainy area and these sneakers are a godsend. I have lost too many sneakers to them getting funky over time because of the water, and these I can trust to hold the test of time and weather. I cannot stress how incredible it is to have a sneaker like this.My favorite part of the sneaker is definitely that it is waterproof. It has such an important effect to how these sneakers will last. I am very sure of the material used for it and it shows in how quality the product is shown to stand. Definitely like that the most. I would change having the ankle area be taller. My ankles are a part I take care of a lot when getting sneakers and these in high or even mid tops would be incredible. I know it is not typical for a running sneaker, but I would love to see different styles implemented into it.

This feature impressed me because I sometimes take night jogs and having this feature on the sneaker provided me a level of safety. The materials this sneaker is made of gives the sneaker a sleek and modern look, making it easy to pair with your latest stylish outfit.Overall, I think that this sneaker is an amazing choice for no matter what occasion you are using them for. Being able to stand on your feet for hours and not feel the stresses on your knee and ankle joints is a plus for me.The only downside I would say about this sneaker is that there is no pull-tab on the back of the sneaker to assist in slipping on the sneakers.
