Just received them today and they were comfortable the minute I put them on! Lightweight and very "springy." I got the white/multi and just love the colors. I wear a size 7 and these are a little snug but they'll stretch a bit -- going up 1/2 size would have been too big for me. However, depending on what socks you wear you may have to go up a 1/2 size or more. The only thing I don't like is that the inner "tongue" isn't loose on the sides -- it's affixed inside the shoe at each corner of the tongue. So, for someone like me with high instep I had to really loosen the laces and wiggle to get in. But I figured it out and made it work.

These just arrived and as soon as I slipped them on I knew they were going to be great. There is good arch support and heel cushioning. I think the footbed is helping to prevent pronation. They have a Vibram Megagrip sole so I feel confident wearing them. Got them on sale (a plus) and I love the color. I purchased the silver/pomelo color choice in a size 11. There’s plenty of room for a thicker sock. Walking around with size 11 feet, you seek out shoes that are flattering and don’t look huge. These are both. Overall these Agility Peak 5 shoes are sure to be a favorite going forward.

I did a couple of long walks this fall with these sneakers. However I am saving them for the spring of 2024. I like the style and I like the fit of Merrell hikers but recently expanded my horizons to include Merrell trail runners. I am a good shoe snob and only where the best supporting shoes for my feet. I have a condition called neuropathy which severely affects my feet. Comfort is everything to me, then style. Merrell has both

First ride in the Peak 5s today. 15.8km. Muddy/forest terrain. Awesome! Good grip, super comfortable. No rubby parts. Nice feel and agility. Roomy toe box was awesome. Fit and look are perfect. Highly reccomend.
The Merrell Agility Peak 5, which I switched to lately, has completely changed the way I run on trails. Performance and comfort are noticeably improved by the lowered weight, contoured heel cup, and enhanced rocker. Recycled materials and a breathable mesh top demonstrate Merrell's dedication to quality. Every element shouts usefulness. It's now my first pick when looking for a dependable and effective trail shoe.
I took a plunge buying these as I've been a loyal La Sportiva gal for many years, but finally admitted I needed something with more support.Oh. My. Word. I just pulled these out of the box today and ran 8 trail miles, with a 2 mile cool down. No pain, felt like I was running on clouds. They handled uneven terrain, shale rock, mud, dirt, and vegetation without issue. I normally wouldn't attempt that distance on a new shoe, but this was the support I was missing!FYI to narrow feet people - I loved La Sportiva for the narrow toe box. These are a tad wider, but not so much that your foot is flopping around. It was a mild adjustment at first, but not a dealbreaker. The additional support more than made up for it.
I just returned home from a trip to Europe. I wanted to bring one sneaker that I could wear the whole trip and was functional but also cute with dresses, pants, etc. I brought these and they were great! I wore these to walk around London all day, to walk over the uneven cobblestones in Bruges, and up a mountain trail to a glacier in Norway. They were ridiculously comfortable and looked good too- got many compliments. I have a difficult foot to fit and shoes a lot of people like don’t always work for me. But these I would for sure order again. I found them true to size- they seemed a bit big at first, but after wearing them all day made me glad I got my usual size 10. I got the white with the pink/orange bottom. Give these a shot- you won’t be disappointed !
I purchase these shoes online and when they arrived, I loved the way they felt on my feet and they felt really cushioned. I was looking forward to getting them out on the trail for a test but unfortunately I didn't like how my heel kept lifting while walking around the house. I tried a few different lace techniques but nothing seemed to help. I did read prior reviews that this happened with other people, but I still ordered in hopes that they would fit my feet better. Maybe if I would have sized down a half size, it would have been better. but I always size up for hiking to allow swelling. Had to sadly return
I got these for an upcoming vacation but when I took them out of the box, I had to wear them immediately! They are so cute and indescribably comfortable. I’m not a trail runner but have grown to love merrells trail sneakers for any situation I need comfy shoes! Recommend for gym goers, vacation sneakers etc! Very breathable and true to size.
I was excited to try this shoe after reading the reviews and specific information on Merrell's website. Merrell's diagrams appeared to show that the insole was removable. It is not and I will be sending them back. Too bad. The shoe might have worked for me but I didn't want to take a chance that they wouldn't fit with my custom orthotics. Really, Merrell? Is there a reason to glue the insole to the shoe?
