I returned these shoes because they felt too wide even when the laces were pulled as tightly as I could wear them. Merrell shoes typically fit me perfectly and comfortably right from the box. These did not. Wasn't a fan of the gray color I ordered and I could not figure out what the elastic band on top of the tongue was for. The elastic turned into a loop that stuck up uselessly and oddly when laces were tied. Also didn't understand what the velcro thing on the outside of the back of the heel was for. Strange shoes!

I have always had good luck with Merrell shoes and these are no exception. I ordered these because I was looking for a walking shoe that didn’t have white soles and didn’t have a lot of different colors or fancy designs. I ordered these because I really liked the light blue and grey colors. The absolute bonus is how incredibly comfortable they are. I put these on and immediately knew they were going to work.I am a size 10 and these are true to size. They have a round toe bed, which I prefer. My feet are pretty finicky and these sneakers work! They simultaneously have just enough support and cushion. I put these on and started walking and could believe how comfortable they are! Immediately ordered a second pair!

They required no breaking in and are true to size. My daily 4-mile walk takes me on all types of terrain - pavement, concrete, dirt, gravel, meadow - and up and down hills. These shoes have performed well in all conditions. They are lightweight but feel sturdy. Very pleased so far.

I previously owned two pairs of Antora 2. SO comfortable! They were the perfect walking shoe except that they wore out in the pinkie toe area. In fact that area wore out before the soles did. The soles held up unbelievable well; better than any shoe I have ever owned.When I got the newest version, Antora 3, I was happy to see that the toe area of the shoe had been improved but noticed that the soles now looked different.Two areas of disappointment:1) The insoles were removeable in the Antora 2, but in the Antora 3 they are glued down in the toe area. While I did manage to get them out, it tore up the original insole and left a sticky residue. What a mess. I need to be able to use my own inserts.2) The new soles have not held up. SO disappointing. I love the Antora as both a trail walking/hiking shoe and as every day sportswear, and the 3 is even better than the 2. Lighter, more comfortable, but still feels just sturdy and confident walking in wet and unsteady conditions. Also a great shoe to wear to the wet fields for kid's sports every weekend morning! I have a wider foot and the medium fits really well.
Merrell has been my choice for all my footwear for many years now. I wear these on concrete floors. I’ve had feet surgery three times for bunions. These are very comfortable. One unsatisfactory part: The laces do not stay tied without a double knot.
I bought size 9 and 9.5 .I needed to try these shoes on with my custom orthotic to know what size to keep. I couldn't because Merrell glued the insole into the shoe! Who does that?! If I tried to remove the insole it would rip. Sending both pairs back. I think this could have potentially been a good shoe!
I bought these a few weeks ago and I am inLOVE . I Have not terrific knees, and I work out every day, and I also enjoy walking but unfortunately, it’s usually on pavement. These are the absolute most comfortable sneakers I have ever ever worn. It’s almost as if the streets are now paved with memory foam. The sneakers are supportive, Have an wide enough toe box for my feet, and they all like walking on clouds..Other brands, I tried and had been happy with or Hoka and Altra, but I have to tell you these blow those brands away !! I just hope they last a while .
After to speaking with a rep they advised me that their newer model Antora 3 was far more comfortable. Straight out of the box there was no break in period and fit comfortably true to size. The vibram sole was not too stiff yet firm. These are extremely comfortable, like wearing a pair of slippers. Great job Merrell.
