My boys have worn Crocs 8n the summer since they were toddlers. However, this year the Crocs that would be the size for my 8 year old son just seemed way too wide. I knew he would be tripping and slipping in such poor fitting shoes. I thought I would get the Skechers foamies for him. I am so glad I didn't get foamies online. I saw them in person in d.s.w. and they were cheap quality...the fabric was so sharp it would cut my kids foot. Then I saw these Merrell shoes. They are so much more ergonomic than Crocs. No more tripping when he runs...the toe would stub and catch in Crocs. He's been wearing these several months and I think I will get these for my other children going forward. Great shoe.

I bought a size 8 and it has hugh!!! So I bought a size 7 … still very very big!!! So i bought a size 6. Fits better but still big. I wear a size 8. To return i have to pay shipping and it’s very expensive to ship from my location. I would not buy from this site as the sizing is crazy large !!!

My son wore these ocean wading, tide pooling on rocks, swimming, skateboarding, biking and all over camping. They worked great for 2 hard weeks of hard play and still look new.I didn’t know what size to get. So I bought 2 sizes. First wear of the larger size rubbed. He ended up wearing the smaller size that I originally bought for his younger brother.

These shoes are wonderful for the water! My son is able to move about, in and out of the water, like he's wearing nothing and that's a big deal with a water shoe. He says they're comfy and we've had no blisters or issues with them. They're also pretty cool looking!
These are SUPER cool. So cool that I will probably buy myself a pair. My kid loves them, easy to put on, stay on well, too. Love the quality merrell puts in kids shoes. Really beats out everyone as far as quality. This is our second pair of merrell brand shoes. Every time, I’m impressed!
I’ve owned a lot of crocs. While they are super practical and relaxed, they look too much like Crocs. So I tried these. They are good, but are a little too tight fitting to be useful in true beach and pool situations. More prone to rubbing and trapping fine sand against your skin. They also take a little more effort to slip on your feet due to the slightly slimmer profile. Otherwise pretty solid, better looking and comfortable.
I have small feet and sometimes the best option is to buy kids shoes. Such is the case with these Merrell Hydro Moc Sandals. I usually wear a women's size 5/youth size 3. However, these ran big and I fit the youth size 2 very comfortably. My only issue was wearing them on a sandy beach. The sand filled at my toes and with no holes at the toes, I had to keep picking my feet up to position them in such a way for the sand to spill out of the other holes. I wore these every afternoon as my camp shoes on our week long white water rafting trip. Made of rubber, these pack light, released the sand easily and dried immediately.
Various shoe makers have me at a size 11 or 12, depending on the manufacturer, but these Hydro Mocs definitely ran an 11 with space to spare, which is good because you don’t want shoes like this pressing in your toes. What impresses me is that these actually have arch support, are much more flexible than the competition—but still offer confidence while wearing—and are much more breathable. Having that extra space allows for socks during cooler seasons, while the material is great for running around rocky, watery areas in the summer. Easy to rinse if you’re wearing them at the beach, too. I loved these so much I’m buying a pair for my wife. Gonna take these on an upcoming trip where we’ll be doing tons of walking.
I love these shoes for my wide footed daughter! They seem to fit her foot even better than crocs and I like the look of these way more! They are so versatile and seem to be comfortable for long days walking. We wore them for 2 days straight at Legoland with no complaints! Highly recommend!
These are the second pair for an active six year oldfirst pair were worn daily and on vacations, in and out of sea, sand, mud...showed no signs of wear and tear, the sole looked brand new - he just outgrew them.awesome shoes BUT - beware the suntan splotch marks ;)
