GOTE-TEX Moab’s are always stiff and a little harder to break in. I try to have a pair around in the winter months. The Olive color is great also.

Hello, I’m a 43 year old guy in Ohio. I suffer from shin splint pain while taking even the most casual of walks, I have entirely flat feet, I overpronate and I’m always fighting the pain from a bulging disc in my lower back.When I say my Moab 3 lows are almost medicinal in how they feel and treat me, I mean it. The lug height helps my metatarsal pain as well, and I have so much comfortable space in the toe box I’ve said it’s like my forefoot has their own apartments.This all while my heel feels locked into place tightly and I’m stabilized, just as I need.I purchased these GORE-TEX models for autumn and winter months but I will most certainly purchase a standard Moab 3 low boot (or two!) to wear this spring and summer.Merrell, all I can say is well done and please, please just make more Moab 3s just like this, only with different color ways and material.No need to take anything further; this customer is extremely pleased.

They run small. Feel quite narrow despite being a medium. Not very cushioned at all. This is my 4th pair of Merrell’s so I was expecting comfort, cushioning, and the correct size. Am sadly disappointed. I tried wearing them for 5 days but I had to give up. They look nice. Maybe if I’d got a half size bigger they’d feel better, but seeing as this was my 4th pair and all my shoes/trainers are 9-10 (depending on brand), I’m surprised. Very well made, though.
