I broke these in within the first 15 minutes of wearing. Superb comfort. Love the full leather upper. I had a long look at many other brands, so I did not blindly choose these. They just came out a winner for price, looks, and known comfort based on the older model.

A very comfortable mid sized hiking boot. I had no issues with the boot putting pressure on areas of the foot that could cause blistering. The boot didn't feel weighty at all and the sole has good grip.I've only been on one walk, but so far i have no complaints. I would recommend this boot.

I bought these boots 2 months ago. Very comfortable and great traction on ice and snow. However, the soles are delaminating from the leather. The delamination is occurring on both shoes from the toe cap to the instep. This is the first pair of Merrell boots I have had fail on me.

I was looking for a ‘casual’ pair of walking shoes. Nothing too chunky or heavy or technical. Just reasonably priced shoes for walking 5-10km on local trails when I didn’t want to wear my full walking boots. These fit the bill perfectly. They are very cushioned and comfortable. They look smart enough for walking round town. They are tall enough to go through some minor mud and puddles but not a full boot height. If you are looking for something to go up real mountains or long distance, there are better choices than this. I did do one longer (15km+) hike and they started to rub on my ankles. For most walks though, these will more than do the job and do it comfortably and stylishly.
Last Moab I had started leaking after a few months in wet grass. Talked to American Merrell, and they were apologetic and ready to send me a new set of hikers... But unfortunately bought them from Canada's Merrell, who refused to replace them and indirectly told me I shouldn't expect the same level of service from Canada vs USA.Will never buy Merrell shoes from Canada again.
Wanted a good pair of boots that would last for hikes/walks.Went for these as have heard good things from friends.Very comfortable to wear. Already worn on a very rainy walk and feet stayed completely dry.Looking forward to many more comfortable and dry miles exploring in these!
I have had these boots for 2months now. They were a good fit and wore well until a week ago.The right hand boot feels like your sock has bunched up between heel and arch. it takes about an hour to start the bunching up. Have tried various pairs of socks to no avail. There is no visable signs of any damage inside or outside so I have put it down to the sole must serperate internally. I will return them today. Otherwise I love these boots. Laces are way too long as well
These may be ok for a casual stroll around the block walking the dog, however a short time into a medium level bush hike I noticed the toe rubber coming away from the shoe which eventually led to a fall. These are unrefined, very bulky and put together clumsy. Many attempts and 1 week later still no response from Merrell’s supposed “customer care”. Buy if your a casual walker and won’t want help if something goes amiss with the purchase
My second pair of Moab leather along with four other Moab styles of boot. Serial Always comfy straight the box. Quality is great, love Vibram sole. Excellent heal counter for someone that pronates when walking. Also have five other styles of Merrell 👍
These are my third pair of Merrell boots over the last few years and are by far the worst in terms of quality. Purchased new and within two weeks of casual wear (walking the dog ~4-5 miles a day) the sole is already starting to come off starting at the toe and this morning - the first walk in extremely light rain - found me having soaked socks. I thought these were waterproof.I've never had an issue with Merrell boots before, so this is a severe disappointment to say the least. They are comfortable and the traction is great, but the quality of this particular pair is not up to par. I had purchased these for an upcoming trip to Iceland and unfortunately will have to find an alternative.
