I live in northern wisconsin and used to have a real problem with damp grass and swampy terrain when I’ve been running or hiking off the beaten path. These solve that problem. I did add a little better insole and that helped a lot (I’m a big guy 6’5 235#s) the only problem I’ve had is when running on the road on a hot day, they can get a bit warm. Getting another unlined set for that. Really looking forward to using these early winter and early spring.

Great shoes! I needed wide width and these delivered like I knew they would. They are durable but light and with Gore Tex liner, wet conditions didn’t bother my feet. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone.
These fit like other Merrills that I’ve owned. I wear a 7 EEE and the 7 W fits perfectly. They are rugged yet lightweight perfect for the trail or working around the house.
Overall a great sneaker. The rear piece is separating.
So far the best sneaker I have ever worn! I have feet issues but not with these. Highly recommended. Extremely light test supportive.
