No one carries 10.5 to pre-try so I have to order them. Next time I'll return. See photo.

Normal shoe size 5.5; sized up 1/2 to an 6 to avoid toes-jamming on varied terrain. Good traction; good arch support; waterproof. Just finished a Camino de Santiago and this was one of two pairs I wore - they were great!

These shoes are so comfortable! Cushioning without being sloppy, at least for me. As I don't hike much these days, these are great for easy walks. I got a 10.5 which fits me well, although I sometimes need an 11 in Merrell walking shoes. It doesn't feel too big for me. It's my go anywhere shoe these days.

I bought these for general walking and running purposes. I also have fallen arches... These shoes have great support and are the comfiest shoes I've ever had! I also am a nurse and I wore them for a couple shifts and my legs have never felt this good after a shift! I bought another pair for work!
I originally purchased a 9.5 (my usual size). I should have believed the reviews that said they run big. I returned for a 9 and am waiting for the new order. I did weigh them, and each shoe weights almost 11.5 oz. They seem very comfortable, which is the reason I didn't return, but I am concerened that they may be a little hot since they are waterproof. I took off a star for those reasons, but really won't know until I wear them for a bit.
Bought for expected wet weather overseas, but returned after wearing them and slipping in my wet concrete driveway, then later walking on wet soil. Please be aware that these shoes have NO traction on wet concrete surfaces (and they struggled with wet dirt too despite being waterproof hiking shoes). When I returned them the store manager made it sound like this should have been obvious, but this seems like a real safety oversight to not mention in the description. I’m sure they work fine in the intended environment but if I can’t even safely get to my car to drive/walk to the trail it’s a no from me.
I returned these immediately. They feel so heavy. All the weight is in the bottom of the shoe. I would’ve preferred a whole hiking boot compared to these. Love the design and color but not worth it. They made a weird crease at the toes that I don’t think would’ve gotten better once broken in. Also felt that my foot was easily able to slip out even when tightly laced. And they definitely weren’t too big. I do think they would have good traction.
Fully waterproof! Perfect for rainy days which we have had in Montreal Quebec this summer. They fit perfectly, order a 7m5 and usually get a 7.5, read the review before purchasing and I saw someone said it was true to size and it is. Didn't have to purchase a size up like I did for another shoe from Merrell! my feet don't get wet from sudation either. Amazing shoes! I recommend
I am a power walker. I broke my foot a few months ago and my foot specialist suggested I get a shoe that would not let my foot bend near the break if I wanted to continue walking. I tried on many, many shoes and your Merrill’s did the trick. I’m thrilled and walking again. Thank you
After researching, I bought these shoes for an upcoming cruise to Alaska, and really wanted to like them. However, they were super stiff and very uncomfortable, and I didn't have the time/patience for breaking them in before my trip, hoping that they'd be comfy. Returning for a pair of Columbia waterproof hikers.
