This is a great pad for consumers who need an affordable product, to buy an image to identify themselves with, for an activity they would otherwise not do. It is the perfect size for your dog to sleep on in the van.

Excellent light weight basic pad

I bought this pad as a secondary pad. As advertised 7.4 pounds. One of the lightest on the market! After 3 weeks of climbing, the foam has remained firm and the material has withstood every other day use.

Excellent value

Average size, average foam, durable, good carrying harness, all in the cheapest pad I could find. No features for carrying any gear, no carpet for wiping feet, but if you have a another pad, or a bag you can stuff into it when folded, these things that would have raised the price don't matter. The angled edges at the hinge make me feel less likely to turn an ankle if falling in the gutter.

Great pad for a good price. It does it's job, what more could you ask for. Good pad if you don't want to spend a bunch of money and don't need anything fancy.

It’s basic but solid

Taken the pad out for a half dozen days of bouldering at this point- the reason you would want to buy this pad- it’s a solid crash pad with no frills. The downsides- It doesn’t have handles on the top or bottom (when folded and on your back) which can make it trickier to stack pads if you carry out multiple at once. It doesn’t have an extra flap to help hold gear in but you should already know that by now (and I’ve been fine with that on my organic pad so not gonna complain here).

Nice and light and the price was right!

Perfect pad for me! I carry my stuff in a daypack on my chest.Pads carry better without tons of stuff crammed in them. I love this no frills version of the session pad. Heck i should have bought two at that price! Two would be cheaper and have more coverage than a recon or maybe even a magnum. I love the durabilty and versatility of this pad. If you think like me you will too. Cheers!

Pad saves ankles

Simple pad, I have 2. No bells, no whistles, just a few inches of pad to slow your deceleration and prevent ankle snapage. Not huge but paired with another works great!

Pretty much all you need. Same foam as the more expensive metolius pads. Standard size and plenty thick. Might want two for highball boulders.

Simple pad with a great price point. I bought it as an extra pad. The price of a pad is way cheaper than the cost of an injury. I also like that this pad is noticeably lighter than my Metolius Sessions II pad but still provides the same level of protection.

Works great!

Bought this for some bouldering trips, I wanted a pad that was less complicated to buckle up and put on, and this fit the bill. I really like the angled hinge on it as it seems safer than the ninety degree folds on other pads. Looking forward to using it.
