Did you know that kittens can't drink cows milk? I mean, they will drink it and it will look like they're loving it but it upsets their stomachs later. It also makes their poops extra runny and then they get grouchy. A great alternative is goat milk but perferably this brand. I don't like the smell of regular milk and this goat milk smells strong but as soon as those kittens smelled it their tails just go a wagging. Good stuff right here.

Follow up for a growing girl

My granddaughter has a dairy allergy. At 1 year of age, we changed from infant formula to a follow up that she could drink. It was the same step 2 formula my daughter had to have when she was young. The company phased out the formula after several months of us purchasing for little girl. I was now on a quest for a milk replacement that wouldn't upset her tummy. A friend suggested goat milk. I researched and everything seemed it would be great. Oh yes and it was! She took right to it! Zero tummy troubles! In fact her tummy was better!! She became regular instead of the constipation battle that goes with soy milk. She's doing great and loving her goat milk! Thanks for such a great product!!

Great milk!

I use this regularly. Vitacost has the best price. Makes wonderful goat milk yogurt. FYI you cannot make goat milk yogurt from pasteurized goat milk from carton, but this powder works because it is not ultra pasteurized. I use 4 scoops to 1 quart of A2 cows milk to make very thick fortified yogurt acceptable on low lectin diet. The chilling goat milk powder needs occurs after the yogurt is made up and refrigerated.It is as thick as Greek yogurt. Doesn't mix right away but that's expected with a natural product. I use my blender. Best when it has had about 24 to chill in refrigerator.

Kosher, but in a can

This is my go to coffee creamer and addition to most smoothies or simple bedtime drinks (add turmeric golden milk mix and honey for a nice hot drink after dinner and before bed). This is quite rich and creamy, which is how I like it. If you are looking for an alternative to cows milk, this is it. And, goats are far less weighty on the environment if properly taken care of.Now that they have a bag version back in stock, I will go with version. Only reason I give this 4 stars. Meyenberg should go with the bag only. Leave the can behind.

Not satisfied

I bought 9 cans of this goat milk altogether under delivery order nos. 806930417 and 806932433. After finishing the third can, I opened the fourth can about two weeks ago and almost drank it daily during breakfast. This morning, when I opened the can, I found that the milk powder had turned rancid and tasted musty. I therefore open a new can and disappointingly I found the same thing happen. It seems to me that all the remaining 4 cans has turned rancid as they all bear the same code 1340 05/19/20 use by 05/13/24 (as per photos attached). Please tell me what should I do with these rancid goat milk.

Perfect for cow's milk allergies

Our 18mth old granddaughter was drinking toddler formula due to milk allergies. I feared she was getting too much soy hormones and searched for an alternative. An older mentioned goat milk as an easy to digest milk.Found it in powder and refrigerated section at Walmart. She took to it without any problems. It must taste good for she readily drank it from her cup. It did not upset her stomach. That had been our greatest concern. So pleased to make an easy transition.

Rich but not goaty in taste

Rich goat milk that's not excessively goaty in taste. The powder is vaguely yellow in color. I find it tastier and richer than other brands of goat milk powder I have found off iherb. Given the expense and short shelf-life of fresh goat milk, this is a convenient and acceptable substitute. Goat milk is well-known to be healthier and more digestible than cow's milk and is good for kids (pun intended).My main problem with this is that it clumps even in hot water. You'll have to stir vigorously.
