I have gone through several sets of these tires on my BMW R1200GS. They are a very good overall tire with a good balance of grip vs longevity. They are good in most anything short of sand or mud and have consistently gotten over 12K miles/set before needing replacement. And as for the visor shop, even including shipping, these were $60-75 cheaper than from any vendor on this side of the pond. Delivery took about a week.Cheers
Installed on KTM1290 SAR. Held up really well on 8K mile trip. Performed well in the wet.
Seems to be a good overall tire so far. Could be a little softer/gripier in the center though but I know that would affect tread life. Traction control still comes on on the pavement with this tire but my bike has alot of power so. Seems to grip ok off road as well haven't had it in deep mud yet so well see. Does have a weird noise on the road in turns though because of the tread pattern but driving straight pretty quite.-m-2016--
The Michelin Anakee Adventure tire is a great all around tire. Its working well on my Yamaha Super Tenere and should provide good longevity and traction no matter what the situation is.
If your after an 80/20 tyre this is probally one the best tyres available today.The road stability and grip are right up there with the best, stable under braking and confidence inspiring through the twisties.Off road they are too bad either, sand and gravel they are better than any 80/20 that I have used in the past, wet slippery mud is their only downfall however that's to be expected from this type of tyre.In summary I am very happy with this tyre it has exceeded my expectations in most areas and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this tyre to any one who wants a great performing 80/20 tyre 👍👍
Knobby enough for easy gravel. Smooth enough for a sport touring pace on twisty pavement. Very good rain performance. Perfect for my 650 V Strom. Expensive but you get what you pay for.
I really wanted a tire with better corning grip. this is a huge upgrade from stock. I ride a KTM 1290 Super adventure R
These tires are excellent with dual ply down the center for extra life while On Road, as I am 80% of the time. Great buy from Visor Shop! Best price I could find and the shipping was super fast.
