Excellent tire. 10,000 km's and will easily make another 2,000. Nice feel on the road. Works well on pavement. Excellent tire for rocks and baby heads. Works good in the mud. Great feel on gravel. Already bought another for when it's needed.

Put a set of Anakee Wild on my Africa Twin last September just in time for the Adventure bike gathering in Vernon. I was impressed with the handling and traction on pavement and forest service roads road both wet and dry. Near 4000km on them now; expect I'll get ~8000 from the rear and twice that from the front. Another rear on hand ready for mounting.

Bugger to get on, souper stiff sidewall/bead and fear a flat repair out in the bush will be no fun. I've been using the T63 for the last few changes and like the value/performance but now they have been replaced by these, Anakee Wild, we shall see. I typicaly got 5000kms plus on the T63, 4600 on the Mita E09, about 2500 on the M21 or the 606 so i really hope these new skins last and don't flat way out in the beyond.(my specialty,... gasp) I'd like a nobby'er sidewall as these, like all duelsport tires, are like marbles in the corners. Nice look'nn tire on my old warhorse but for me looks don't matter, I want them to live long and rip... a bit.Oh ya, Fortnine, i love the video's and the price. Canadapost was ummm... as expected, I'm learning. thank you's everybody

I installed this tire for a 600 mile ride in the mountains of VA and NC on both gravel and paved secondary roads. The Anakee Wild is rated a 50/50 tire and it performed 100% ! On gravel/dirt sections it hooked up well and did not wander trying to find a line. On pavement it was as good as any street tire I have used. I did notice some wallowing on tight switchbacks , but that could have been caused by airing down for gravel sections and I was loaded for camping. The wild on the rear was paired with a BattleAxe on the front and they worked well together even tho it is recommended yo not mix radial/bias tread. While the Wild cost more than most I would rather have a tire that does everything great than get home and say if I only had a better tire I could ... MoreI installed this tire for a 600 mile ride in the mountains of VA and NC on both gravel and paved secondary roads. Installed matching set on my 2015 BMW F800 GS Adventure. I rode south from Utica NY and picked up the TAT heading west. Tires were extremely loud on pavement, but did fine up to 70 mph. However, off road, yee-ha. Absolutely incredible. I was shocked what I was able to go through and over with ease. I rode in absolutely pouring rain all day on the George Washington Forest trails with not one drop. These tires allowed me to ride well beyond my abilities. Repeatedly crossing streams over 3' deep without a problem, wet packed dirt, extremely steep sections covered in loose rocks, nothing was too much for these tires. I even did the Tail of The Dragon aggressively, with zero issues. I put 3,000 miles on them so far, and I might have another 3k left in them. Bought this beginning of season. Tried pretty much all type of roads (tarmac, gravel, sand, mud, rocky) and it is a good all around tire. Impressive grip on the tarmac for a « knobby » style tire. Liked it enough to buy a second set for a switch during the season.Rear is going away fast although. I have about 4000km on it and it’s close to the end for the rear one. Wear Ratio for front will probably be 2/1.A little expensive for the duration of the tire but great Michelin quality of construction. Hopefully they will come with a new version that the rubber is a little less soft and or more depth in the tread.Again great service and fast shipping with Fortnine
These were hyped as an updated/improved version of the older gold standard TKC80s my KTM 1090 came with so I figured I'd give them a shot. Rear tread life was considerably worse. Rear grip was considerably worse. They don't hook up well on pavement for clutching up wheelies and the hot Texas pavement shredded the tread life faster than any tire i've seen. Road noise was louder than the TKC80 with worse off road grip. I would just stick with the OEM TKC80s. The only positives I have to say about them is front tire is holding out very well compared to the rear, which can also be said about TKC80s, and they don't feel quite as marbly as the TKC80s when leaning the bike over but that's kind of a moot point since no one is trying to drag knee on an ADV bike. Would never ... MoreThese were hyped as an updated/improved version of the older gold standard TKC80s my KTM 1090 came with so I figured I'd give them a shot. Rear tread life was considerably worse. Anakee Wild met expectations as a premium tire. Expensive, but performed well. Fitted a pair to a Moto Guzzi V85TT for a 2,600 km ride from Phoenix to Mexicos Copper Canyon. Route was 95% asphalt, but the coarse tread of the Wild was necessary for the difficult leg from Choix to Batopilas. Provided good traction in sand & rock. Traction & wear on asphalt was surprisingly good for such an off-road oriented tire. Lots of life left in the tires following this trip. No wet weather encountered, so wet evaluation not available.
Used on 10 day adventure trip. August 2020. 70% dirt roads. 2020 R1250GS with 100 pounds of racks, panniers, luggage, etc. I weigh 170. The rear had great traction but only lasted 2,000 miles and is now toast. The front is probably good for 2000 more miles. I ran 25 psi rear on dirt and 36 pounds on the road. Sometimes ran 25 psi on the road on transfer sections of 25 miles or less. This did not help wear. I did not spin the tire much on the dirt but did ride hard on the street. The front tire is loud at times depending on wind direction, windshield position, air pressure and ear plugs. The rear tire feels strange on the pavement when pushed hard. Feels like it's going to slide out but just moves a couple of inches. All knobbies may do the same. Will not buy again ... MoreUsed on 10 day adventure trip. Bought these tires because i had the intention of riding on the street more often than I do, however that didnt work out very well and I spent all summer still riding the trails. I put on about 2000km of serious trail use and abuse and these tires handled everything I could throw at them(except for sheer ice, but no standard tires can stand up to that.) The front tends be very washy in deep sand, however what can you expect when you use 50/50 tires for strictly dirt? I still managed to shred the gnar-est of gnar. Also on a side note, these tires are designed for heavier adv bikes, I used them all summer on an enduro and have had no problems. Paired with the Michelin UHD tubes and Im not worried about flats from rocks/shale.
