I love these tires. I liked the Scorcher 31s that came on the bike, so well, that I replaced with the same. The tread design isn't beautiful, but I'm a "function" type person. There are remarks that these aren't the best rain tires, but I have had no trouble when riding in rain. I've been near interstate speeds during rain. My riding style, though is spirited ..... not aggressive, and I am prudent when it rains. Tires were delivered within 2 days of placing the order! I'm only one state away, so YMMV.I've been buying from Revzilla for 7 or 8 years, and have never been disappointed.

Well, I surprised people are talking about bad grip in the wet and still giving it 5 stars. To me, 5 stars mean the tire performs great in all conditions. At the end pretty much any tire can hold the road when it's perfectly dry.I currently have these at around 14K (and looking for a replacement) and I should say they slip in the rain. If you're looking for something more reliable in various road conditions look for something else.Look great tho!

I purchased a set of Michelin Scorcher tires for my 2014 HD "48". I purchased a replacement set from revzilla for the simple fact that I got 15,000 miles from the original set. The price was too good to pass up for an excellent tire. The tire also carry's the HD factory stamp on the tire. This tire performs great on dry surface but under braking in wet conditions the tire leaves a little to be desired. Overall a great tire. I can definitely see another set of these on my bike in the future!

First bike and first set of tires. These came stock on my 17 Sportster XL1200 Custom. These are fantastic on dry pavement as I lean hard and have never felt any slip. Wet pavement I have learned to take it easy as these will spin pretty quick and lock under braking with start of rain but settle in to about what I would expect after the grime has washed off the roads. I am nearing 9000 miles and I have about 2/32's left before I get down to the wear bars. I expect maybe 10k miles is about average for these tires. I see some reviews saying over 10k but they are probably not riding as hard as I am. Overall I say these are great and will be replacing these with the same.
Scorchers came with my 2017 Dyna Street Bob when I bought it new a little over 5yrs ago. My riding preference is daylight rides of 75 to 250 miles in dry weather and temperatures of no less than 60 degrees F. I never intentionally ride in wet weather although there have been times when I have been caught in heavy downpours unexpectedly during rides. I'm very pleased with the way the Scorchers handle in every situation (always on paved roads, of course). I replaced them with a new set of Scorchers at 20,000 miles. I'm now at about 36,000 miles and the tread looks like it will last until 40,000 miles so I'm getting about 20,000 miles from each set of new tires. I ride a '16 wide glide with 18K on my rear tire. Front went in 10k. I ride hard and the skinny front tire gets beat. Great tire no complaints. I have been looking for a replacement since spring. Got to love the supply chain.
Just got this to replace the rear on my 15 fxdwg. Its a stock replacement. There is just over 12k on the odometer and the original was done. Hardly any tread across the flat of the tire, wont reach washingtons head on a quarter. Maybe have 1k left? The sides still have maybe 2-3k left in them. The front tire is still great wear wise, ill probably replace soon due to age. I corner fast and hard and the sides of the tire have held up really well. The tire holds up just fine in the water. Ive never had any loss of traction. Most of my riding is on the highway going 80mph+ even in the rain. I personally think the tires have great traction. Onto the order. Got here in 3 days. Date code on the side of the tire is for Sept of 18. Tire was shipped in no packaging at all. ... MoreJust got this to replace the rear on my 15 fxdwg. Its a stock replacement. 2004 Roadster (XL1200R); 80% commute, 20% weekend cruising2nd set of Scorchers. First lasted 18,000 front and rear and still had life it them, but were getting scary in the rain and not as planted around turns. Both tires remained predicable up until the 13-15k mark, and then started downhill, which prompted me to purchase then swap them for new Scorchers. Good looking tire, branded HD. Great handling tire for regular commuting, and holds up well in the turns. I have upgraded suspension front and rear, fork brace, etc., so I do 'corner' on a Harley. Please understand that means edge to edge wear on the tire, but not at the lean angles of a sportbike. These tires held up for a long time, and the cost to age value was agreeable, so I bought another set. Talk to you ... More2004 Roadster (XL1200R); 80% commute, 20% weekend cruising2nd set of Scorchers. The good: excellent rain performance, excellent grip, nice looking tire that gave a smooth ride and performed well. No issues whatsoever. The bad: at 8K miles they are down to the wear bars. I ride 60% highway, 40% country roads, and always have my tire inflation to spec. A modern multi-compound tire like this should last for 12-16K, which has been my experience with the other OEM brand used by Harley...which I will be going back to.If you're a low mileage rider, you may enjoy the Scorchers. If your miles are high and you don't want to get new tires every year, there are better options.
Can’t go wrong with the scorcher. Sides of the tire are harder than some so gripping in corners is just slightly above average, however the tire life on these are great. HARLEY Davidson on the sidewall is also a nice touch. Revzilla’s tire mount and balancing discount through Cycle Gear is also a great perk of purchasing tires here. $25 fee plus $5 for disposal of the old radial as opposed to $60. Good deal and above average radial.
