I have a little over 8200 miles on my 2020 FLFBS 114 Fat Boy with the Stage Two kit done at the 1000 mile check, and the right side of my front tire is thoroughly worn out !! Just the right side, the left side looks to be average wear for the mileage. The rear tire is still just fine and will last many more miles! What is up with this adverse and accelerated wear?!?!? I have never before owned a motorcycle that wore out a front tire before a rear tire was needed!!! I would really like an answer to this as the tires seem to perform admirably as to adhesion and performance. I understand that they are supposed to have a harder composition in the center and softer, more adhesive composition on the sides, but has this been a problem that one side or the other is too soft ... MoreI have a little over 8200 miles on my 2020 FLFBS 114 Fat Boy with the Stage Two kit done at the 1000 mile check, and the right side of my front tire is thoroughly worn out !! I am at this point very disappointed in the wear durability of these tires!!!! If I am going to have to deal with this kind of accelerated wear, I can run Pirelli at about half the cost and get the same handling and quality. I ran Pirelli for years on my Shovel Stroker and was very, very pleased with them!!! I understand that Michellin is a premier tire manufacturer that generates a top quality product, but I am very disappointed with my initial experience with the original equipment tires on my FLFBS Fat Boy 114. Now I have to spend two or three hundred bucks for a new tire after 8200 miles?!?!?!?!? I really want a direct email response to this situation as I am very disappointed in your product at this particular time!! I love the tires' performance, but am not at all happy with the longevity and wear!!!!

I bought both front and rear tires to replace the originals on my wife's 2015 HD Sportster 1200T. These are the exact same tire, even with HD on the side wall. However, I guess that they are not frequently made because both were in the three to four year old range. I have bought tires from Fortnine before and those tires were never more than a year old.

Have had all brands and models in all V-Rods and just went from Bridgestones to the Michelin Scorcher 11?s. Hands down one of the best tires I?ve rode on. These are neck and neck with Pirelli Night Dragons. Excellent turning, insane grip and ads sticky as possible, and will be replacing with the same set from now on. Can?t speak highly enough about these tires but they?re excellent (even given the short west life). All around excellent.

Expensive as hel@! Great tire, especially on wet roads. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Truly a pushed aside asset, but the lady who helped me was awesome and did the right thing! Thank you Faith Vincent, your commitment to customer service won you an unexpected order for a rear tire a few days later?
TLDR: Overall a great tire, great price, and great work from my local CycleGear. I would fully recommend these tires.Michelin Scorcher 11's were specifically made for my Harley Davidson Sportster SuperLow. I tried to find another set that would go on my SuperLow, but there was no other option; I would have had to mix and match tires, which I didn't want to do.The Scorcher's were what was on the bike prior, so I went with these. The most trouble I had was getting the rear wheel off the bike. Once I brought my wheels to my local CycleGear, they had the new tires mounted and balanced within two hours. If this is your first tire buying experience, do know that the mounting and balancing is about $25 a tire and then you also will have to purchase a new valve stem ... MoreTLDR: Overall a great tire, great price, and great work from my local CycleGear. This is my fifth time purchasing tires at CycleGear and I had another overall great experience.Bonus, if you are purchasing a tire in fall of 2023, Michelin has a tire purchase voucher and once I submitted my receipt, I got $80 back. Pays for the entire tire service and my time.
These are the OEM tires that came on my wife's 2016 H-D XL883L. At 5,800 miles, the wear bars started showing in both front and rear tires. I have also ridden her motorcycle and can attest to the sticky grip, especially in hard rainfall and deep highway water. This being said, better tires exist with these same qualities but offer at least twice the tread life. I wish Michelin made the Commander 2's in her tire sizes, but they do not. We are going with the Bridgestone Battlecruise H50 tires, because some of claimed 15,000-18,000 miles. We will certainly provide a later review on those tires.
Purchased two Michelin tires for my HD Breakout. Great experience. Five working day delivery to doorstep. Tires were date coded this year!!! 2 bills cheaper than dealership. Very happy & would buy from Revzilla again.
Perfect for powerful cruisers. I have them on my FXDRS 114. Very soft grip tires. Perfect for corners and hard acceleration. Don't expect long life. 10k miles generally. 15k if your easy on them. Appearance and performance is great. Not cheap. You get what you pay for. I cruise short rides and locally mostly. Performance is impressive on highway at triple digit speeds, I meant speed limit. Harder the tire, more likely to spin it but life for Commander 2 is 25k. I am aggressive therefore these are the only tire I run. Can't afford to drop bike. Sticky is good.
The 11F came with the Superlow stock. It has a tight but rough ride. It corners great in switchbacks. I wore out my warning pegs. The rears fall off quicker than the fronts. The 11T was introduced by mere no other choice. I shredded the rear after riding the Devil's Tail. The nearby shops didn't have 11F available. So I opt to the 11T which comes stock on the 1200T. It rides a lot smoother on the street and highway. The cornering is just as good, but I'm not scraping my pegs. I prefer the 11T over the 11F, because the durability of the tire and comfort. Thanks Michelin for putting out a tire I can have confidence in when riding wet or dry, cruising or shredding. Thanks!
If I could give -10 stars I would. Under 4000 miles on a rear tire and it is showing cords on just 1 side!! Michelin tires are absolute garbage. Not willing to warranty the tire out, total joke of a tire. Soft as hell and clearly won't last even 1 season!! Do no waste your money.
