Purchased a set of Michelin City Grip 2 last October. Unfortunately due to my lack of experience I didn't notice that my local Cycle Gear had installed the rear tire backwards. A local shop mechanic pointed it out to me after 4000+ miles of use. The bike rode fine and never noticed any issues. Will need to purchase a new rear tire for an upcoming cross-country rally soon. Will mark tire with correct direction prior to dropping off for mounting - a $100.00 plus learning experience. Other than that a great set of tires!

Just replaced oem Dunlop Scootsmart on my Xmax with these and very well worth it. The oem are complete garbage handling and wear, these make the scoot handle like a bike, tracks well and every comfy. As advertised by manufacturer.Highly recommend!!

Great tire, so much better ride and stability then the factory tires. Sticks to the road and helps you have great control even at higher speeds.

Thèse tyres...i put a 130/70-12 rear and a 120 /70-12 front on my Benelli TNT 135. They bit réal well in thé sain. But ba careful to take hard turns slow quel roads have winter salut still on them and loose sand. Bike sent right out from under me because i forgot about salt, didnt consider thé waxy-ness of brand new tires, and i misread the sandy patch on the pavement. Ali test being said, once the rubbers had 80 or si miles on them...they sera great!4 out of 5 star because they are too pricy.
These tires made a huge difference in the way my scooter handles. The stock tires that came with the scoot were okay, but I didn't know their limitations until I put these on. The traction in turns is an especially noticeable improvement. Honda Pcx 150.
I haven’t had these tires for very long so I can’t talk about tread life yet or the rain but what I can tell you is that since putting these on my scooter my turning capabilities have dramatically gotten better I can just feel the tires gripping the road. I have so much more confidence in my turns. I’m taking turns anywhere from 10 to 20 miles faster. Would totally buy these tires again just off the experience with them so far.
These are the most amazing grip tires. You won’t find any better than these for your scooter, hands down. I don’t know about tread life because they are newer to me, but grip during any conditions, superb.
Ran this on my 2012 Burgman 400, 120-80-14. Installed at 11,000 miles. Changed at 21,788. Tire was pretty much bald down the middle. Good performing tire, but removing a star because throughout most of the life of the tire, it made a really annoying howling noise at around 50 MPH.. Switched to a Pirelli Diablo Rosso and it no longer makes a noise.
So, 3 stars. Not great, but not horrible either. Allow me to explain.Short story is: Michelin likes to design their tires with essentially a point at the middle. Then you have ramps down either side...like a V. Whereas other companies (not naming any) design their tires with more of a curve to them, like a D (curve facing down, obviously). This means that when you use these Michelin tires, and I've had several sets on different bikes which all did this, (spanning over 20 years), this means they do not like to hold the angle you set at the bars; They want to keep dropping in. This to me is annoying at best and tragic at worst if you're not prepared for it. It also makes it harder to ride.In this specific tire, the feedback is good. This to me is annoying at best and tragic at worst if you're not prepared for it. It also makes it harder to ride.In this specific tire, the feedback is good. They do inspire confidence in the sense that they don't send unnecessary chatter through the bars like some other tires do (pretty much every OEM Dunlop I've ever ridden, this scoot included). By the same token, and this could be because they're new, they also are lazy to respond to inputs from what I imagine is due to the M+S all season tire profile. There's lots of little 'fingers' that have to tighten up before the change is registered at the tire from what you do on the bars. I imagine this is what dual sport people deal with riding on knobbies to a lesser degree. Couple that with their natural tendency to fall in by themselves, and you can see why this is annoying.Going to keep them for a bit, but these were purchased out of desperation to get out of the OEM tires on the scoot, and were the only reputable brand I trusted that was in stock. Will keep hunting for my other tire of choice.
I put 130/70-12 on my front and 140/70-12 on the rear for my Vespa GTS 300. I have tried a couple of tires and these are excellent. Rides smooth and grips well. lines on the freeway and roads now have little affect on the Vespa, so little to not wiggle. Defiantly worth the money and highly recommend them that want good performance and ride.
