This is a very high quality micro plane. sturdy and comfortable with a large cutting surface. The cover is pretty much useless though as is doesn’t clip on and stay on securely. No matter this is the best micro plane I have used. I use this everyday.

Great price, great service, great product. This is one heavy duty microplane. I’ve been so disappointed a different brand’s quality - the plastic surrounds have just snapped off ruining the grater. It’s not going to happen with this one.

Excellent grater. Always stays sharp. Easy to use
This is the only microplane that I could find that had a container attached to it to catch whatever you are grating. When you take the attachment off and turn it around, it easily mounts on the opposite side to protect the grating surface in your drawer. Very clever design. I also like the slightly wider surface than many of the smaller microplanes. Aesthetically pleasing and does a great job!
Overall a fantastic product. Ease of use, easy grip handle and the grater blades stay sharp gor a long time.It is the second one we have bought in 5 years and both times we have thrown out the measuring attachment as it is not needed.
This Microplane grater (Elite Series, Fine Grater in Black) just makes clouds of parmesan or lemon zest. My only problem with it is that it's tricky to fit the protective plastic cover back on, although I love that the cover is also a measuring cup!
Top quality microplane. Love the triple purpose cover/catcher/measurer and the soft no scuff/cut silicone safety edges. The ergonomic handle fits confortably in the hand. Glad to be able to pop it in the dishwasher for clean up. A superior product. Very happy with purchase.
I must be using these wrong! Bought all three variants of this grater a couple of years ago and they have all cracked around the plastic frame. Apparently you are not supposed to put downward pressure on the grater which is kind of the whole idea.... Have gone back to my $5 box grater which is much sturdier.
Only used it once so far, to grate an onion. Very fine grater, probably too fine for grating onion. I actually bought it for grating fresh ginger but wanted to test it out. It is very sharp and has a nice ergonomic shape that makes it easy to use. It feels safer than some graters I have used as I did not feel like it would slip while I was using it. I like having the cover for the blade to prevent it getting damaged in the drawer.
